G & R TRASH SVC

I was informed in January that the trash would no longer be picked up. The problem was that I had already paid for the service from January-March. I called several times and only received an answer once. I was told that they had no plans to refund my $56 payment. I am very angry that they kept my money without providing three months of service. I have also contacted the Better Business Bureau.

My trash has been sitting at the road for 3 weeks!!!!! I mailed them a money order for our bill a month ago because getting them to answer the phone is impossible and for some reason the only person who take my cash is never there!!! Paid our bill for nothing

My husband has had this service for over 30 years. We have alway had very reliable service…. Until the past few weeks. This week we have not had any pick up at all and our normal day is Monday and nothing and it’s Wednesday now. When I call the number there is a prerecorded message that cuts off and is rather vague. I know it is a family owned business and apparently the wife is caring for an I’ll family member. The message said that you would receive an automated message if your service will be affected…. I only have to assume that they have our old home phone which we no longer have and haven’t for many years. So the vagueness of the message is frustrating as we also look out for our older neighbor next door and he is beside himself as well. Turn your answer machine back on to receive message or provide an email address. Ugh

my service has been paid up in full for over two years and in the last 3 months they have skipped picking up my trash for 6 weeks out of 12 and I live in the country and when they don't pick it up I have animals getting into it. I've already called and complained! when they answer their phone) so they switched my days and it's actually gotten worse this company is terrible stay away from them

I have used this service for 2 years and just recently have had issues with not picking up all of my trash. They keep leaving one trash can full of my trash at the end of my neighbors driveway. I live in a duplex but they think that my trash can is my neighbor’s. I have called multiple times without getting a call back. I even confronted the truck operators and they told me they would make sure to pick up going forward. Nope. They left it again this week. When I started this service, they told me 2 cans were fine and if it didn’t all fit to put the bags on the side. No issues for a year and half and now it continues to be an issue. Be cautious in your interactions with this service

Great service & great workers

This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I requested residential trash service on a weekly schedule. It was to start on August 1. On July 27 I contacted G&R to confirm that my service would start as planned. A friendly woman assured me that they were on schedule and we would not be missed. I offered directions but was told they were not needed. Sounds good ! Monday August 1 came and went without pick up. I phoned several times and got a voicemail message saying the voicemail system was not set up. Finally the same friendly woman answered and apologized saying they could not find my location, please call back after 8:30 PM. (note we live in a residential housing addition that is easy to find with GPS or google maps) I called on Tuesday morning and gave directions to a now working voicemail. Tuesday came and went without service. The excuse this day was the "truck is broke down". Wednesday we were assured we would get our trash picked up. No such luck. I finally reach "the friendly woman" at 8 PM. She told me she was in the area and would make sure that the trash was picked up. At 9:45 I still had trash and placed a call to find that the voicemail was not set up. I have now signed with a different company. Too bad G&R did not deliver on the services they say they provide as my entire neighborhood would like to have one service provider and this could have been very lucrative for them. My suggestion . . . DO NOT USE G&R . . . They are worthless.

I found them through my neighbour. They're reliable and affordable. They come on Monday and did what they were supposed to.
