Jr Flooring

Purchased new home and J.R. Flooring installed the flooring and bath tile. Called and requested that someone look my curling vinyl plank flooring, the flooring is approximately three years old. Jay came and photographed flooring and said he would send the photos and request instructions from the manufacturer. That was six or seven months ago and there still has been no response. I spoke with my home builder, Leander Schwartz, owner of L&S Construction, and was told that J.R. Flooring told him that they had no intention to make the warranty repairs. I haven't been able to confirm because J.R. Flooring has never returned any of my phone calls.

Excellent installation and service.

From start to finish, everyone at JR Flooring was very helpful and professional. It took us several months to pick out what we wanted and the staff never rushed us to make a decision, came out several times to measure and give us new estimates, and assisted us in picking out the right type of flooring and best quality product for our family. The staff were very good at talking us through the process, giving us suggestions on what type of floor to buy, letting us taking samples home to see what they would look like with the lighting in our home, and answering any questions we had. Once we decided on a floor, it was ordered and the job started within a couple of weeks from ordering. The turnaround from ordering to installation was less time than we expected. The installers were extremely professional, offered suggestions, and worked quickly and efficiently. Each day we were told what was done and what they would work on the next day. If they were going to be a little late because they had an urgent job, they called to tell us. This only happened once during the entire week they were there and were not even an hour late. We felt very comfortable having them in our home and would have them back again. We are extremely happy with our new floors and would recommend them to anyone that is looking to have new floors installed.

Despite the horrid condition of the roads due to winter weather, they were right on time the first day. Went right to work and had old flooring removed and underlay installed. Second day, they tried to make it, but ended up in a ditch due to the ice on the roads, poor guys. Called and told us that morning what had happened and even stated they'd try to make it if it warmed up a little and the ice melted. Next day they were right on time again, and got the tile installed. I've been thrilled with their service, really friendly guys, who did an excellent job.

They came to my home to measure when they said they would, despite the horrible snowy roads. Since it was unknown as to whether I'd need a new subfloor or not, they gave me a quote for both. My house was built in 1952 and a previous owner had installed (and glued!) some horrid carpet in the kitchen. JR's ordered the tile I selected and called me when it came in (earlier than expected) to set up a installation date. It was originally set for 7 Feb. but they called that morning and had slid off the road and into a ditch due to the ice and snow on the roads. They were still willing to come, but wanted to know if it could be changed to the 8th to give the highway dept 24 hrs to clear the roads. I told them no problem. They showed up prompt the next morning, removed the old carpet, and installed the subflooring and tile. The next day they returned to do the grouting. They called on the 10th to see if I was happy with the job done, and called a week later just to follow up. I was very impressed, and would definitely use again.

This was the first time we had used their services. I heard from a friend that they were really good and they were. They were prompt, courteous, polite and very businesslike. They cleaned up after themselves very good. They also come out to measure beforehand to make sure it is the right size.
