About us

I am a small business that has 4 employees. My billing for large landscape jobs goes as follows, you would pay for all materials upfront and pay the remainder when job is complete. For lawn mowing I bill out once a month and expect payment when invoice is received. Hendricks, Johnson, and Morgan counties, and portions of Hamilton and Marion counties.

The experience with Payne Lawn Care was great! The owner, Chris Payne, is easy to talk with and will provide you with detailed information regarding the best types of plants and trees for your home and area. Chris will provide mock ups of the area you wish to landscape as well as provide various options on plants, trees, etc. that will fit into your budget. His staff is friendly and they get the job done quickly without comprise to quality and customer service. For example, Chris and his team showed up on time and began work right way even though it had started to rain. They asked for our opinion on placement of plants as well as the pruning of the mature landscape. If we wanted something slightly different they made the change for us! The team of workers were careful with the equipment and tools, I had no worries when my 3 year old was outside playing as they were finishing the job. The team cleaned everything quickly and Chris talked with us before leaving to ensure we were satisfied with the job. The overall experience was great! We will be using Payne Lawn Care in the Fall when we add more landscape to the back yard!
Description of Work: Services performed include the clean up (weed and vine removal, pruning of shrubs) and retrenching of all current landscaped areas, including all areas under mature trees in the yard. Movement of several plants to other locations around the home and addition of new shrubs and Weeping Cherry Tree to the front yard. All areas of the landscape covered with new mulch, including the trees. 1 year warranty provided for new shrubs and tree.
