THE HOME DEPOT

I went to Home Depot to order an entry way door (2 French doors and 2 side lights) to replace our previous damaged entry way door. I was able to order exactly what I wanted and worked with Gloria (at the ProDesk) to finalize the order; throughout this whole process, she has been very professional. I applied for a Credit Card and was told by someone in their credit department, that it was denied. When I questioned that and asked to speak with the person who gave that information, I was told there was a discrepancy with my social security number and I would need to provide documentation to prove that, that was my number. Also, they wanted me to bring further proof, 2 additional documents. The next morning I called the Home Depot Credit Services and spoke to another representative, who indicated that several other people had the same social security number. I asked if she had contacted any of the three Credit Burrows, and she stated no, and that they have their own in house security system. I did not appreciate how this whole situation was handled and decided not purchase my entry door from them.
