The job was excellent. They were really good and I will recommend them. They got rid of my old system, also. The quality of work, responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism was excellent. I will use them again in the future.

They responded very quickly to our initial call for a bid on the project and then were able to begin within one week. They went above and beyond the level of service we were expecting from a contractor.

Called to get an estimate to convert our old hot water heating system to forced air. When the customer service person asked if it was a rental, I told her we were the homeowners and had rented the house in the past. She then told me that there was a policy that the company did not work on rental properties. I told her that the house was empty and that we were not sure we would be keeping it a rental property and she told us that she was sorry and could not help us.

During the hottest week of the year the two technicians from Home Comfort preformed above and beyond necessary. Brian and Tony did an excelent job working in conditions of 100 plus degrees installing my new furnace and air conditioner. the conditions were so bad because my indoor unit is in the attic; with duct work in the celing of my 1912 built home. The techs had to run the new copper line set up two stories but got it done; despite the conditions the work was complete by 6:00 pm with ice cold air for the first time in two weeks. I got quotes from 4 companies on Angie's List and went with Home Comfort because of the Trane product name after my research it was always rated near the top of all HVAC brands. The other compaines all had competitive pricing but the Trane name won out for me.

We had a furnace and ac unit installed. The furnace worked fine and I am happy with it. The AC unit was another story it froze up several times and would stop blowing any air when it got above 90 degrees. They came out and checked everything from air flow to the unit itself. After around the 5 time in one year out they decided to replace the condenser. We will see next year if that takes care of it or not. The Manager was not very cooperative and Todd the owner never returned my call. I will say the service guys we very nice and I felt they did their best to fix the problem.

The tech arrived on time and put covers over his shoes before coming in to our house. He listened to what we were experiencing before going outside. Once he went outdoors, he explained why an airflow issue would cause icing at the compressor area and how it interrupts cooling. He checked the coolant level and confirmed it was airflow versus coolant level. He went into the basement and checked the blower unit. There, he removed the panels and discovered that the switch was faulty so the blower wasn't circulating the cold air. While he was there, he also inspected the heating element to ensure it was okay. He recorded the inspection while using an infrared camera system to show me that there were pending issues. He explained that with those issues present, he would not be able to change the switch unless we either repaired or replaced the heating elements for safety reasons. The danger was that the metal was separating and the unit could begin allowing dangerous levels to begin building in our house. He outlined estimated costs for repair and replacement. We are still deciding whether to repair the unit or replace it. I will certainly choose Home Comfort Experts when we make up our mind.

Their technicians are courteous, professional, and most important - ON TIME!! Upon entering the home, they immediately put shoe covers on, they will not ask to use your bathroom, they are great at explaining how things work and showing the customer how to check some things themselves to prevent problems. They've always been honest and straight up with us. No hard sell. I have and will continue to recommend Home Comfort.

I found the company and its employee's to be very helpful and very professional. Originally called to have a/c serviced. Technician found some problems which would have resulted in approximately $1300.00 in repairs. Given the age of the furnace and A/C we opted to have both of them replaced. The work they did was professional and they left the house clean. We were very happy with their work.

Sales rep, Brian West, was professional and open in his presentation. The installers were extremely careful in laying coverings for all areas in which they worked. They started the installation at approximately 8:15 a.m., did not take an outside break for lunch and finished the installation by 4:45 p.m. They answered all questions that I had and patiently explained setting up the thermostat, allowing me sufficient time to become familiar with it's functions. From Brian to the installers, Mike and Dave, they were all extremely professional in all their dealings. I highly recommend Home Comfort Experts...they were exceptional!

We hired them to do duct cleaning, furnace service, and humidifier. The duct cleaning was good, the guys were very nice and everything was cleaned up when they left. We ended up buying a new filter, as ours was a dinosaur. Heating service was next and in the middle of it they realized that our heat exchange was cracked. Out furnace was 14 years old and we got a new one instead of replacing. The service guys were also very nice and helpful. We then set up our humidifier and furnace replacement for the same day. It took them the whole day, but the guys were very nice and cleaned up area well. We had different guys for each piece of business/service we purchased-all were great! Sales guy was very professional as well. We had nice follow up. The price was maybe more expensive than some other places. But we didn't have time to shop around and because everyone was so nice and professional, we decided that a little more money was worth knowing it would be done right and guaranteed. They also sent a box of candy to thank us again, which was nice and unexpected. We would use them again and recommend them to someone else.

When I first called for an estimate, the person answered the phone with "How can I make you smile today?" How you react to that opening probably tells you a lot about whether this is the company for you. Brian West came out to do the estimate. (The company sent an e-mail with a photo the night before!) He was prompt, friendly, courteous, wore booties, took lots of measurements, and offered lots of information. The only part I found awkward was a bit of a tendency to try to scare me about the competition (not by name): showing me pictures of bad installations by others that they had come in to repair, saying that other companies that looked local had really been bought out by big guys, asking me if other estimators had been as thorough as he with measurements, and so forth. At the same time, he did plenty to try to sell me on the high level of service I could expect from the company, and I believed him. I was left with the impression that they would a) provide me with what I really needed and was asking for, and not try to get me to do expensive add-ons, and b) do a very good job. Brian called a couple of times after the estimate (the only time he didn't get voice mail, I unfortunately was in a rush) and made it clear that the company was prepared to haggle on price, but in the end I couldn't imagine them getting significantly lower than the company I went with, and I preferred to give my business to the company that had started with the lower price (also a make I was more familiar with). If you are nervous about having work done on your house and want to be very well taken care of, and you don't mind paying somewhat extra for that, my guess is that you could hire them with great confidence.

We have a maintenance agreement and they came to check our air conditioner. They've also installed a new furance for us. I'm satisfied with their services.

No comments since we have not decided on who to go with. We did receive a written estimate.

They were on time and it was through a program through the gas company.

I was very happy with their results. The gentleman recommended an allergy strip to be put in the bottom of the drip pan and it has helped my family with allergies and my daughter's asthma. Their customer service was excellent and I was very happy with the gentleman that helped me.

Installation was quick and professional. However we had several issues that are now being resolved. The system was incorrectly adjusted because heat pump stopped cooling. They came out right away and made an adjustment. They had to come out again when heat pump froze up. More adjustments and hopefully all is well. We bought a couple of scratch and dent units so I was not to upset that these adjustments had to be made.

I ended up going with another company because they could get out first.

HOME Comfort came out to inspect and do a spring claning on my A/C, discovered it was burned out and that I needed a new one. I'm an electrical engineer and could tell that they were right (not just pulling my leg), many of the components were burned up in the condensing unit and being that it was 18yrs old, it was time for a new one. A few days later a very nice and professional salesman came out and explained how they take care of their customers, the warranties, etc. Very good experience, 2 stage, 95% efficient, multi-point furnace and 13 sear a/c was going to be about $10k. we were all set to pull the trigger on it when I decided I needed comparison quotes. The Sales guy showed us quotes from other 'big name' companies (Great Lakes, B&W, etc) and HOME beat them very squarely, but my family has used a couple of local smaller shops in the past with very high regard, so I called a couple of them. I decided on one of these (separate review when the job is completed for them), that gentleman was just as professional, friendly as the HOME guy (who really was awesome), but for the same equipment specs (I didn't get the Trane setup) and services the whole job only cost $5k. That was simply to big a difference for me to ignore.

Was one of two bidders. We received plenty of attention from the salesman. He measured all the door and window openings plus inside room dimensions to size the equipment correctly. Installation was one-day and very professional installers.

The employees are very friendly and professional. They work quickly and couteously. They pay attention to detail and do a good job in describing their services and fee structures. They are thorough. Their service is priced fairly I believe. They are not discounters...so expect to pay for what they provide.
