Description of Work: Furnace A/C water heater replaced

Description of Work: Always prompt but will call if running late. When scheduling service HCE asks if there is a particular service person you'd like. The work is always very professionally completed. Always willing to take the time to explain anything that needs to be done. Just an overall very responsive, professional company with excellent service providers. I always recommend HCE.

Description of Work: I had my 23 year old furnace replaced. The installation went smoothly and the unit is working fine so far. Installers were prompt, informative about how the unit and thermostat were to function. Installation of new furnace and removal of the old one took about 8 hours, all in one day. I appreciate how carefully the workers protected my carpet and furniture. Nice job and I'm warm now.

Description of Work: While I had an entire top of the line new HVAC system (as well as a few other bells and whistles) installed, it was not without hickups. The wrong thermostat was installed and it took months to get it corrected; far too long a wait, too many phone conversations for my taste.

Description of Work: Install a new high efficiency Trane furnace and AC. Very easy process and very impressed with quality, service and price!

Description of Work: We had a new furnace and central air unit installed. They were very neat and cleaned up after themselves. They worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner,which took two days with everything they had to do but, they worked as long as they could each day(no quitting at 5 o'clock). We also had our ducts cleaned out,that gentleman was also very nice and explained everything to us. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: The salesman suggested I get a larger furnace, much larger than I needed for the size of my home. He said at discount price (because of a dent that wound not effect performance) it would be a steal. The following spring the furnace was damaged in a power surge from lightening. They said the warranty would not cover the part and it cost $700 to fix. So I call the salesman and asked him why he would encourage me to buy a large fancy furnace, again much more than I need for a 1400 sq ft home, and not mentioning that repair cost for the fancy furnace could be substantial,he can't answer. Calls to management went unanswered and in fact a registered letter I sent to the office was returned 2 weeks later, unopened.

Description of Work: I had a central air conditioner installed in my home. I had a great experience from start to finish. Eric, the salesman I worked with was extremely helpful and professional. The install technicians were prompt and efficient. I would recommend Home Comfort Experts to everyone!

Description of Work: Used a coupon for an AC inspection. Was told that the furnace needed to have a capacitor replaced and a new AC water drainage system installed. Also told that the AC needed a capacitor replaced costing $350. Paid for the furnace capacitor replacement ($168) and had to sign declining the other repairs. I had All Temp H & C come out to give a second opinion. I was told that the problems were misdiagnosed. New drainage was deemed counterproductive. The AC capacitor failed because the AC contactor was failing. The AC capacitor was replaced for half the cost ($170) of what Home Comfort Experts would have charged and the contactor replaced. The reason the furnace capacitor failed was missed by Home Comfort and the new capacitor that was installed would have failed within 6 months because the main problem was missed. The Home Comfort technician went to the wrong house and ended up being 45 minutes late and constantly interrupted my teaching. (I have a piano studio in the room where the thermostat is.) There was a lot of sales pressure and signatures required to refuse work. I called Home Comfort Experts the next day and was told that the technician they sent out had been working/trained less than 1 year. They wanted to send another technician. I called All Temp H & C instead because of Angie's list recommendations.

Description of Work: Installed new furnace and air conditioner. All went well except for 2 things. 1.) Technician installed a drain line too high up on a wall without consulting my wife. It's not very attractive. 2.) Technician wanted my wife to sign my name on a contractual document. She refused, so we had to make other arrangements.
