HD CHEMDRY OF ST JOESPH COUNTY

Quite a sad experience with this company…. My husband and I scheduled nice and easily over the phone with Heath. Upon arrival of the tech (Austin) I believe, I was vacuuming my hallway. They were here to deep clean the master bedroom, hallway and living room. He tech proceeded to tell me I did not need to continue vacuuming. So I did not finish the hallway or living room. Tech finished vacuuming the hallway and then wrapped up his vacuum and began spraying the carpet in the bedroom. From this point I went in my basement with my 9m old and let him do his thing. 40 minutes later I see on my living room camera is is starting to clean up his supplies so I return upstairs from the basement. I check around and find that the living room did not look vacuumed at all. (We have a long hair dog) I proceeded to drag my foot along the wall and collected a decent amount of hair that rolled up in a clump. I asked if this could be taken care of. The tech went and got a thin broom and showed me how it was difficult to get the hair. I showed him how easy it was to get the hair removed with my foot again. He then lectured me about how they don’t guarantee the carpet to be fully cleaned. After the tech left (and he almost left without getting me to pay , I honestly shouldn’t of opened the door back up to pay him), I contacted Heath to see what we can do to get my carpet clean. He did not want to offer anything other than a bottle of spray the NEXT time. I had my husband call Heath and Health proceeded to tell my husband there is absolutely no machine or tool to remove the hair from our carpet. This company is sad. I asked for a refund and since they “provide a service” they don’t offer refunds. I do not want this company back to my house and all they want to do at this point is come back to vacuum, that should have been offered the first call when I complained. Heath is great at scamming people that work hard for their money while he has half a** workers going out and “cleaning” carpets. 10/10 do NOT recommend. They will take your money and leave your carpet dirty and hairy

Nine months ago when Chem-Dry performed a service at my house, the technicians were courteous, but, did a lousy job cleaning the stairwell and hallway. They didn't clean all the way to the edge of the carpet on the stairs and left a dirt stain on the side of each tread. Also, there was a dog crate in the hallway, which they didn't move and only cleaned in front of and not even around the sides. At the time, I didn't call them to come back because I was very busy. Today, I called them to clean the same stairways, hall, and bedroom. I mentioned the problems from last time only so that they wouldn't miss the same spots again. I wasn't looking for a free cleaning, because it had been 9 months. The receptionists insisted she let the owner know. The owner called me 10 minutes later to tell me he was removing me from the schedule because "We won't be able to please you". The best part is that he thought he had already come back to fix the problem, which I had never asked him to do. Not very professional or organized! Very poor customer service. The owner fully deserves this poor rating!

Two carpets and sofa cleaned in just over an hour. Carpets had pet stains on them and he was able to remove all of them. I have previously used him to clean area rugs, where he will pick up and return them when finished. I have had no issues using HDChemDry and would use them again without hesitation.

The Cleaner arrived at the appointed time, but only chemically sprayed and vacuumed areas around furniture. He did NOT move beds, sofas, desks, end tables, nightstands, bureaus, dining table or chests. "Not at this price," he said, after service contract was signed. This was supposed to be the best and most expensive service (Healthy Home Premium Package) available for allergy remedy, but about 1/3 of the wall to wall carpet space in three rooms was not touched. His appliance does not reach under furniture. I was told to move the furniture and vacuum the carpets myself for best results. Total time spent was 2 hours.

They arrived on time and the worker was very professional and he first vacuumed the carpet and then he cleaned it with their product. He said to me the front door will be open while he is busy so I should put my dog in a safe spot that she will not run out. I did and he did all the work and all I needed to do was write the check at the end.

We had Chem Dry over to clean the carpets of our brand new house the day we closed on the house. Indeed, they beat us to the house that day! They actually took our picture in front of the house with the sold sign!! :) They were great- super efficient and nice. Very professional. It is a bit pricey, but the carpet looks great and they gave us a coupon for 30% off a future service.

Heath was in and out in less than one hour. Very professional and I would do business with him again in the future.

I am pleased with the puctuality and professionalism that HD Chem Dry performed. The owner, Heath Davis was very knowledgable and informative on the entire process HD Chem Dry utilizes. They were very courteous, cleaned up after their work and explained from start to finish what I could and could not expect. This wasn't the first time I have had my carpets and furniture cleaned, but it was my first time using HD Chem Dry. Everything looked and smell GREAT! Very satisfied customer and highly recommend A ++++++

He first cleaned front car seats, then family room couch, love seat, ottomon, carpeting and large area rug. I contacted Chem Dry because they advertise dry in 1-2 hours. Car seats, furniture and family room carpet were not dry till next day and area rug took 2 days. Family room carpet was drenced and area rug doesn't look any cleaner. I contacted Heath same day after getting into car and noticing damage to driver's side seat. He came out later that day and said it was from his equipment and he would have someone come to look at it for repair. Next day upholsterer came out and said damage not normal wear and would need seat bonnet replaced. No word from Heath regarding next step, I called him and he decided this was not the path he wanted to take. His suggestion was to go to a seat cover business in South Bend, which I did. Now per Heath will not pay to fix because he believes it's not his fault. Only thing he will do is pay 1/2, which we did not accept. Heath has an excuse for everything, I don't consider him a sound business person.

I did not use them because they were just a little more expensive than the one I ended up using. They were really nice and friendly.

They were professional, responsive and punctual. They did not wet the carpets. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.

This is the first time we hand anyone (outside of ourselves) clean our carpeting and we were very pleased. We made sure that all the furniture was moved out of the rooms (if possible) to make their job easier and less time consuming. The furniture we could not take out of the room, the cleaners moved it and then put them back in place. We made sure our cats were out of the way, which wasn't a problem because when this type of activity starts they go into the basement. The cleaners did ask if we had pets and warned that our front door would be open. If you have any questions they should be asked before the work commences, this way you are not interferring with their work.
