My range is an old Magic Chef and I was afraid it couldn't be fixed. He quickly diagnosed the problem, explained it clearly, and fixed it. He had the part with him and I could tell by how quickly he fixed it that he knew exactly what he was doing.

Service came out to repair a dryer, left to get parts and never came back.

I was looking for someone to perform repairs on major appliance and had previously uses Sears with mixed results and wanted to try someone independent local. I check the Angie's list ratings and came across B & B which had excellent ratings. So i gave them a try and was very impressed. Very reasonable price, very responsive and very professional. I would definitely use them again.

After taking an afternoon off to have Sears fix my dryer and being stood up, I called B&B after reviewing Angie's List. B&B was able to make an appointment that fit my schedule for the next day. The technician arrived right on time and was able to solve my problem in short order, Everything was professionally done and the price was quite reasonable, i would definitely use their service again.

I called him around 1:00 P.M. and explained that my washer was not agitating right. I knew the problem as it happened about 8 yrs ago.He was on his way to a close neighborhood in the area and said he would be to my home within the half hour. I have used him many times before for my appliances. He has always done great work and at a reseanable price. When my refrigerator went out about 4 months ago he came and said it was ;nt repairable. He didn't even charge me to his trip out to my house. I couldn't believe it.

When he found that the belt needed to be replaced, it was one that he needed to order. He had loaned his tool required to install the belt from a friend. When he learned that his friend had broken the tool, he came with the new belt to install it without the tool. This was very difficult and the belt would not stay in place with just muscle. He had to order a new tool and on the third visit was able to install the belt. He did not give me a bill until I was able to use the washer for a few days to assure that there was not something else wrong that would cause the belt break again. For all the time and effort John put into this job, I was surprised that the bill was only $75.00. I will certainly call John again for appliance repair.

Everything went great. I called on Monday and B&B was here by 8:00 the next morning. The problem was diagnosed and repaired within fifteen minutes.

He showed up on time soon after I made the appointment. He found the problem an ordered the part to be installed the next day. He had a problem attaching the part because of the short hose underneath. He returned the next day with extra items to to make the installation go smooth and not damage the connection to the water feed. He installed the pump and everything worked well. I was so impressed with the care he took in providing this service. The price he charged was very reasonable with a $35 service call. Most other service providers charge twice that amount. I would definitely recommend this company because of the combination of the very good technical service and also very fair price.

The refrigerator stopped cooling. We called B&B and he came out a few hours later. He quickly assessed the problem. Unfortunately, a part had to be ordered, but as soon as it came in he scheduled to be at our home soon after my husband got home from work. He replaced the part and cleaned up. Service call and labor charges were very reasonable.

John was excellent! My refrigerator/freezer was warm and I had lost all my food. I made several calls to other service companies and all had given dates 3-5 days out. John stated the earliest was Thursday (this was a Tuesday) but then reconsidered and said he could come by after work hours (6:30pm when I got off work) to look at my problem. He was prompt, quick, professional and realized my dire need to have a working refrigerator. I was very appreciative that he was willing to make the quick trip to my house for an easy fix. I also appreciate that he had a 90 day guarantee for his work and parts. Very satisfied customer!

See above. Cliches like bent over back-wards, went the extra mile and stayed with it until it was fixed right all come to mind. After the repair was made and things were up and running I put the first load of wash in the dryer (this is a stackable unit with the dryer on top of the washer) but it wouldn't dry. So I called John and he was out first thing the next morning observed that the 220 plug was not seating right in the receptical and made the plug fit properly. Since that moment everything has hummed like day one. This is my first Angies list review. I'd say that considering any other than John is a risk you will have to accept. John's service level is a clear 10 and that is complimented by old fashioned courtesy and respect. He dignifies his clients and thats nice to see in this day and age.

Called B & B Saturday morning and left message. Call was returned withing 10 minutes - I described the problem (oven heating element burned through during self-cleaning). B & B called me back within 15 minutes - part were available and gave me a price for service and parts. We establihed a 9:00 Monday morning repair time. He arrived at 9:00 and by 9:20 the oven and broiler heating elements were installed and working properly. Cost was as previously quoted. You can't be the service or price!

I would rate them as high as you can rate them. It is unbelievable to get that kind of service in this day and age.

I am 58, college educated and very competent and experienced as an all around handyman. The washer problem was beyond my ability. The washer would not engage into spin cycle but would wash and drain. Even when manually holding in the door latch, the "door locked light" would not come on thus, as a safety feature, would not engage the spin cycle into its high RPM's. Response by B&B (John) was as quick as his and our schedules would allow. He tested the circuit board several times and to his surprise could not find it to be faulty. His experience on this brand and age of washer indicated that the problem would be with the circuit board, but to our delight it might be a $70 latch switch which he ordered. In a few days, he graciously accommodated my work schedule and arrived at 5:30 pm to install the part. Sadly, this did not solve the problem. The circuit board still tested to be problem free. After consulting with us as to whether we wanted to continue with repairs that could amount to $300, or buy a new washer, we opted for the repair and he ordered a new circuit board. It arrived in a week and again John accommodated my after work schedule and installed the part. Everything worked great - a success! I will use B&B(John) again. He was courteous, accommodating and fair. He charged a standard $35 service fee for this operation plus the part for $237 (nothing additional for the 2 extra trips and phone calls he made). I always felt he acted with the greatest integrity and with my best interest in mind. I never had that feeling that he was out to "gouge me", or was underhanded and hiding something, which I have experienced with some other repairmen. John was comfortable to talk with, responsive to my phone calls and questions, knowledgeable and responsible.

The service call was two appliances. B & B arrived right on time. The first appliance, a stove, required only an adjustment. B & B did not charge. The second required a repair part. The serviceman picked up the part, returned in 20 minutes and completed the repair in under an hour. I was very pleased and B & B will be my first call for appliance repair.

IT WENT AS GREAT AS USUAL, HE HAS BEEN DOING MY APPLIANCE WORK FOR 10+ YEARS. HE HAS LET ME KNOW WHEN IT WAS COST EFFECTIVE TO REPAIR AN APPLIANCE, FOR EXAMPLE, MY WASHING MACHINE-WHICH IS NOT MADE AS WELL ANYMORE-WORTH FIXING. MY 25 YR + DISHWASHER-TIME FOR A NEW ONE!
