A + Plumbing Heating & Cooling

Our sump pump check valve broke a couple of weeks ago. We called A Plus Plumbing, Heating and Cooling. They came a few hours later to replace it and redo parts of the sump pump PVC pipes. The total cost was very high 699 dollars for less than one hour of labor and parts. The next day the PVC pipe system installed by A Plus Plumbing was leaking. We called them again, and they resolved the problem. Of course, this was without giving us warning that it might not be their fault, and perhaps they needed to replace other PVC pipes. Unfortunately, **** broke loose a week ago. One of the PVC pipes that they installed broke again. Our basement ended up getting flooded. We called then again. We heard the same speech over the phone: you will need to pay for new repairs, plumbing systems are complex, etc. This made me very upset. We are talking about replacing PVC pipes and a rubber check valve. They came again and sort it out at no cost, because it was obviously their fault. They helped to remove the water from our basement, though we had wet carpets, and built up humidity, which we needed to dry at our own cost. No apologies from A Plus Plumbing. Our saga hasn't been over yet. This weekend the rubber check valve came loose, and our basement flooded again. This time I was furious. I telephone them. Unfortunately they never returned my call. I decided to fasten the check valve myself. I have been working part of my weekend removing all the water in the basement and starting to dry it again. On this point, I have no other alternative, but to find another plumber, and have 699 dollars less in my wallet.
