We entered into a contract 4/1/21 with Champion Windows to replace all of our windows. The windows arrive to be installed in August 2021, but half of them did not fit so they had to be reordered. In addition to them not fitting we question the actual workmanship of the window sashes. The welding was bad, there was plastic that was cut in certain spots that was sharp on handles, there were gaps, holes, and many more issues with the actual quality of the product. Over the course of the next 6 to 7 months the company came to install the windows that have been ordered only to find out that windows have been ordered the wrong size again. I think we had a total of five or six service visits where they attempted to install windows, they did not fit, and none of the windows were still fitting. When they came to install the windows at the second service appointment they actually took all of our old windows out, so even the sashes that did not fit were left despite the fact that there were gaps and areas visible to the outdoors because they were so small. They attempted to fix it with blue painters, tape around all of the edges of our windows for months because they could not get the measurements correct. It was during winter and to date we have many bad drafts with the windows. Things became so out of hand that in December 2021 we met with the regional manager who came from Ohio to our home in Michigan to look at the windows where he agreed the quality of the product and the lack of correct sizes were so bad he agreed to re-order every single sash for every single window and promised they would be fully inspected for quality before they left the factory. We attempted to communicate with them for the next few months wondering where the windows were and then we were finally told in the middle of March they had arrived and were inspected and a service man came on March 15 to install them and guess what they didnâ t fit. At that point we continue to question if it could be the actual frames because the installation on the very first attempt did not go so well because they did things very poorly so we are wondering if maybe the frames themselves were wrong. On March 15, The manager said he would figure out what he would do next and let us know. We did not hear back from him so we contacted another manager who told us to please make a list of everything that still needed to be done, which we did and we sent to them on March 23, 2022. It was a Google Docs so we have verification they did view it. We have not heard from them since. We attempted to reach out to them numerous times, and all of our text messages, phone calls and emails went unanswered. In our contract it stated that we would pay upon completion of the job. Our contract did state the job would be completed within 1 to 5 business days after it started and we gave them grace on that, but after 2 months of not hearing from them (over 7 months from the date of the first install) we called an attorney who told us to just wait for them to call us because they are the ones breaching the contract with walking away from the job. 4 days ago we received a letter in the mail, 12 months after they stopped all forms of communication with us, demanding we sign a completion form and pay $13,000. The letter also stated at the completion of the job was 3/14/23. They have not spoken to us since 3/23/22. Due to issues that we had at the beginning of the process with them I documented everything, videos, photos, emails, and I even have signed documentation from service workers about things that are wrong. The demand letter states that they are to receive the signed completion form, which was not even included in the package they sent, and the payment by 3/28/23. They clearly breach the contract by abandoning the job before it was finished. We never actually got what we ordered. We ordered a window sashes that worked and were good quality...

I called on May 25 for an update on the approximate schedule date or at least the month for our sunroom. I still have not heard back. It seems trike there is some kind of problem. I am beginning to regret signing the contract. I have already made two payments. Claudia Williams

Good luck trying to get anyone on the phone after you pay. After making the down payment we heard nothing for about 2 months, which they told us to expect since materials and workers affected by covid. We began to reach out at the 2 month mark and no one would call us back. we had to call and select the option to make an appointment for an estimate just to get someone on the phone. then the project manager left the company and no one picked up my project. it took about 5 months to get the siding on my house. they wrote up the contract wrong, I did not catch it, no siding on my soffits. fine, took about a week to get the sales man back on the phone. ordered the material for the soffits in mid February. Now the sales man has left the company and we are back in the same boat where we cant get anyone on the phone. Caveat emptor!

Biggest issues: poor communication; did not show on time; did not clean up biohazards properly; broke windows; multiple errors in window measurement; and lack of customer service. Installation: Showed up late each day. They also broke a window in our kids room. Instead of cleaning it right away, they didn't touch it until the installation supervisor came by and my wife asked them to clean up the broken glass. Even then, they didnt pick up all the shards and left blood smears on the window. We had to clean up the rest of the glass and clean the blood smear on the window ourselves because we could not stand the thought of our kids injuring themselves on the broken glass or touching a biohazard or as OSHA defines it as hazardous waste. Also, they broke another window for our garage but instead of re-installing our original unbroken window, they kept the broken window installed. They also mismeasured our basement window, requiring them to re-order the window. So, at the end of the first day of install (was originally told the project would take a couple of hours), it turned into a 2-day install that resulted in 2 broken windows, 1 mismeasured (and not installed) window, blood (hazardous waste) that was not cleaned, a broken window screen, and installers not showing up at the time that they said they would. Re-Install: They came back out a month later to reinstall the mismeasured basement window and the garage window that the installers broke. Both of the windows still did not fit correctly because they were mismeasured again. After the second mismeasurement, the installation manager measured the basement window himself. Another month later, the mismeasured window came in and it was again the wrong size. They did not even bring the garage window because they could not find it in the warehouse. Customer Service. This company has terrible customer service. 1) I  ve tried multiple times to request a call through their web submission page. Got nothing back. I called their National hotline and asked for their managers to call me to help. Got nothing back. I just wanted to let them know what our experience was like so they could make it right. 2) The installation manager told me that he could get me a discount for all the troubles and to **make it right** When the installation manager was messing up, I reached out to his supervisor, the regional installation manager. He told me that it was against company policy to give further discounts and making it right meant that they would come out and ensure the windows were installed correctly. Customer Service. This company has terrible customer service. 1) I have tried multiple times to request a call through their web submission page. Got nothing back. Unacceptable view of making it right... hen we ve had to endure multiple delays due to their multiple demonstrations of incompetence and lack of care by not cleaning up broken glass in our kids room and not cleaning up smeared blood. We are now 3 months, almost 4 months past the original install date and still have a broken garage window and a mismeasured basement window that has yet to be replaced with no updates in sight. Not even the company National Care Center team is doing much about this aside from regurgitating policy and not actually trying to see the problem from the customers stand...

Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable, professional a pleasure to meet. I was warned about the possibility of delays due to supply shortages but my windows and patio door were installed within 6 weeks and are beautiful. I am completely satisfied.

Very pleased with all aspects of the company so far. In fact I was so impressed with their products prices that I added on an additional window and a sliding glass door to my project! They are currently producing my windows and should be installed far before real winter! And they do 90% of the instillation of the windows from the OUTSIDE...which made me feel so much more safe in this time of COVID.

Champion came out to start the project sooner than anticipated, which made me very happy. I wanted the job done before mid spring and they were able to accomplish that. The crew was so dedicated to my project. During the project Ben and Frank did an excellent job of communicating and explaining the process. They answered my questions in a very timely manner. The crew was very respectful of my property and did a great job cleaning up. They did trample on some of my plants around the deck, but it could be prevented due to where they had to work. I happy to say that the plants are coming back. No harm no foul. They were done way before scheduled and the end result, well I couldn't be more pleased. I will hire them again for other projects and will recommend their services to family and friends.
