It went very well! Mr. Shetler was on time to give an estimate and presented it within a couple of days. His price was better than all but one other, but we received a recommendation for Shetler's from a friend which led us to decide to go with him. He showed up on the day and at the time he said to install, took 2 days for the installation (which is what he estimated), and he took the old units away and cleaned up after himself very nicely. We did have one problem with the furnace kicking on, and he showed up the next evening after we called and had it fixed within 10 minutes. He has checked back with us a couple of times to see if all is running well.

We had recently purchased the home knowing that the HVAC units were very old, which prompted us to buy a home warranty. Because of the age of the equipment, our insurance company required an inspection by a licensed HVAC contractor, which we did. He found that the furnace was leaking carbon monoxide. After a few inspections, the home warranty company decided to have the equipment replaced. Shetler's came in and fully explained what needed to be done to install the new effecient systems and to insure cooling got upstairs. He not only gave us the most thorough explanation of tasks to be completed, but had the best price. Shetler's started on the day he said, finished on the day he said and the units work wonderfully. Also, Shetler's efficiently accomodated a minor change in the installation that we forgot to mention up front. We are well pleased with Mr. Shetler, his work, and our overall experience with him.
