MINTON MECHANICAL

I liked the service provider (who also installed our dishwasher at the same time), however, we did not know anything about furnace manufacturers/installation. We have since found that the unit we have (a York) are rated as one of the worst companies by a consumer magazine. We had another service provider out that we are very happy with who told us the duct work was done very poorly and also discovered the filter that was installed had also been done poorly and it did not fit correctly. The workmanship was just poor.

He did not have a new model in our size in stock, so in a effort to keep us cool, he brought in a used model as a temp until our new unit could be delivered. Once the new unit came in, he switched out the used temp model that he had installed a few days earlier for the new one. Mr. Minton was very upfront with us about our costs and was easy to work with. Thanks to Mr. Minton for going above and beyond to keep us cool while we were waiting for our new unit to come in. In the end, his services have paid for themselves time and again in energy savings from our new unit. As summer came to an end and we noticed the energy savings that we had experienced over the summer, we called Mr. Minton once again to see what our options might be for replacing our 30 year old furnace. After working with us, we found a unit that was the proper size and in our price range and had our old furnace replaced. Mr. Minton and his son were very careful and meticulous in removing our old unit and installing the new one. As summer ended and fall began and we started using the new furnace, again, we saw significant reductions in our energy bills. I cant thank Mr. Minton enough for all of his hard work and extra effort that he put into our two projects. His work has certainly paid for itself time and again and certainly added to the resale value when we sold our old home a year ago. I would definitely use his services again.
