We then prepare a detailed proposal at no cost or obligation to you. Home Energy specializes in grid-tie and off-grid solar and wind systems, and battery back-up systems utilizing power inverters. We are a full service renewable energy contractor specializing in education, sales, installation and service. Leon Bontrager, president of Home Energy, is one of only seven NABCEP certified installers in Indiana! North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) is a national certification organization for professional installers in the field of renewable energy. Professional certification strengthens the solar industry, and raise your confidence, by establishing standards for installer qualifications, competence, training, and experience. It provides you with a standard by which to judge the qualifications of your contractor. Plus we have a licensed Master Electrician on staff who leads the installation and service of our solar and wind power systems. We follow our unique 5-Step Process to advise you on what makes sense for your situation so you are sure to get the best value for your money! We will help you choose what’s right for you, walk you through rebates, payment and financing options, install the system to stringent standards, and teach you how to keep it in peak performance condition.
