Stan and his team did an excellent job! The job took six days and required the team to work in my backyard. They consistently and thoroughly cleaned up after each days work. They demonstrated both expertise and caution in their daily work. They were easy to talk to and were very professional and informative. I would hire them again and highly recommend them regardless of the difficulties of the job.

In early May, I met with Stan. He seemed a terrific guy, gave me a good quote for the services to be performed and, signed the work order/ invoice. I waited, waited, waited. Left multiple phone messages, e-mails, reached a woman by telephone once who said he was behind but was aware and still going to do the work. In November, I sent a final e-mail, again, no response. Very disappointed as I could not even get the courtesy of a response.

We were remodeling the house and we were getting ready to put a new roof on the house and we had a bunch of real old really tall trees where the branches were hanging down on the roof, so we had them come out and trim the trees. Their price was reasonable as far as i know but i've never hired anywhere else so i dont know what a reasonable price would be.

This crew knows what they are doing. Very courteous and cleaned up everything. They do the job right.

A 60 ft. silver maple tree which is only 15' away from our house raised my concerns about it's intregrity during a storm event. I wanted to remove some of the weight off of the limbs to ease those concerns. I called Stan Knoll and asked if he could do that for me. Mr. Knoll told me that" topping" will kill the tree by creating holes in the limbs, and if I asked him to do it he would have to decline my request because any good arborist wouldn't do that to a tree. He said he would remove limbs from the bottum and the interior, but not the top. I countered that response by saying, while pointing at an adjacent silver maple " Tree Mann did that tree five years ago and guarenteed it wouldn't break ". "Well, I suggest you call him because he is the only one that still does that," he replied. So called the Tree Mann and asked him if he would do what I wanted done, and he said no because it would kill the tree. But he did say he would take some of the weight off the top which he called a "crown reduction". He never cut a limb bigger than 3 inches in diameter and removed plenty of material to ease my concerns.

They carefully took down the trees. They ground the stumps and disposed of all evidence of the trees and bushes. They applied dirt and grass seed over the removed tree. We found them to be experienced, professional and courteous.

The Knoll family does a great job helping me care for the trees on my property. Stan also was very helpful to my neighbor.
