R C TURNER PLUMBING

Ron and his partner came over to give an estimate for our bathroom on Tuesday the 23rd of January saying they would call by 5:30 that night to speak to my husband and let us know when they could come back to fix it. He never called me that night, so I called him and he said "we are just really busy", said he would be over Thursday morning to do the job. It got to be around 11:00 am Thursday and still no one had shown up. so again, I called and got the secretary who said they would be out. About 11:30 Ron's partner showed up and started working, wondering where Ron was. Ron came in around 1:00 PM or so. They finished the job around 2:30 or so that day. We had discussed and agreed that they would hold my check until the next morning (Friday) and they completely agreed with that when we first met on Tuesday. I told them this Tuesday when I first met them and they had no problem with that. Well, I woke up Friday morning at 3:00 with a bad feeling and sure enough my $600 check had cleared along with a $36 NSF fee. I called Ron at 3:30 AM and told him about this and he said his daughter must have picked it up off his desk and deposited it. I told him i now owe $36 for that and he said he would take care of it. Later that day I noticed that when we would run a bath the shower would run too so you could not sit in a bath without having the shower dripping on you. Called him back, he said he would come back last Friday to fix that, too, and never came back nor never called. Still don't have resolution for the $36 NSF fee, which he promised to take care of Still have a running shower whenever we take a bath And, still have not heard back from him. I got tired of making phone calls to him and decided that this report would be the best way to warn others about his business. Very disappointed!!!! I will be using someone else for all our plumbing needs.

He ended way overbilling the insurance company and refused to even give me a price upfront. The bigger issue, however, is that he left a live wire sitting on the metal well case which would have seriously injured anyone who may have touched it. There's also a fire hydrant near the well that was flowing freely that he also neglected to fix as he said he would. Another issue is that there is water coming up out of the ground around the well, so something isn't fixed properly. I have called him four times, each time he said he would be out the next day, but he never showed. I have sent him nurmerous letters to inform him of the issue and now this has been going on for over three month's and we are going to have to hire another contracter to repair it and take RC Turner Plumbing to court.

THEY PROMISED TO COME RIGHT OUT, AND IT TOOK THEM FOUR DAYS. THEY DAY THAT THEY DID SHOW UP, THEY TOOK THEIR TRUCK AND THE THING BEHIND WHICH I THINK WAS THEIR COMPRESSOR AND THEY DRUG IT THROUGH OUR YARD. THEY COULD'VE EASILY WENT IN UP THE DRIVEWAY AND ACROSS THE DECK. THEN THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO COME BACK AND FIX THE PUMP BECAUSE IT HAD BLOWN UP AND WE CALLED THEM TWICE AND THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!
