 + -1 moreI have referred Kevin many times and everyone of my friends think he is excellent as well. Kevin is fair and honest.
Description of Work: Kevin has been our electrician for over 15 years. He has added wiring to accomodate overhead light fixtures, fans, fireplace starters, and outlets. He has brought our 20 year old house into the modern world with lighting under the cabinets and various accent lighting in recessed areas, as well as wiring for wall mounted tvs etc. I like him because he is honest and has excellent ideas. He is a combination of an electrican and a lighting design person. I learned to trust him with other issues in the house as well. When he suggests a maintenance issue I always listen.

 + -1 moreKevin showed up and went right to work. He figured out the problem and was determined to get it fixed. He did a great job and fixed our wiring that went from our main circuit breaker to the pump house breaker. He worked fast and we were very happy.
Description of Work: The wire going from our main circuit breaker to the pump house circuit breaker was burnt. Kevin spliced the line back together.

 + -1 moreOverall working with Kevin is a positive experience. He can get backed up on his scheduling but once he started the job he never left me hanging. The various jobs have always been completely finished to my satisfaction.
Description of Work: Disregard the approximate service data as I have used Kevin's services for over 10 years. He is the best electrician I have ever used. He can run wires and outlets in places that I would have thought impossible. We have had clock boxes installed, outlets, light fixtures (where the builder didn't even bother to put in a junction box), lights under our kitchen cabinets, dimers, spot lights, flood lights, ceiling fans etc. Basically we have used him to bring our lighting throughout the house to more contemporary styles. He has always been incredibly reasonable. I trust him.

 + -1 moreI was completely satisfied with Kevin's work. I have no complaints whatsoever. He is very capable, very competitive in price and did high quality work. Kevin was $1400 and $2000 lower than the other bids I obtained. I was so pleased with his work that I gave him $100 extra.
Description of Work: Kevin wired my garage for my woodworking tools. He added 17 outlets and wired flourescent lights which I purchased. He also upgraded our service from 100 amp to 200 amp.

Description of Work: MADE RECOMMENDATIONS FOR NEW LIGHTING IN KITCHEN. REMOVED OLD LIGHTS AND INSTALLED NEW LIGHTS. INSTALLED ADDITIONAL OUTLETS THROUGHOUT HOUSE.

 + -1 moreAUGUST AND SEPTEMBER CAME AND WENT. I CALLED OCTOBER 4TH, STATED THAT I WOULD LIKE THE WORK DONE IN THE NEXT THREE WEEKS, "NOT A PROBLEM, CAN BE THERE NEXT WEEK". HAD BABY AND CALLED WHEN I GOT HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL, ON OCT. 11. KEVIN SAID IT WAS "NOT A PROBLEM, WE'LL BE OUT NEXT WEEK" HE NEVER CALLED OR CAME OUT, SO I CALLED AGAIN OCT. 15TH AND WAS AGAIN TOLD HE'D BE OUT NEXT WEEK. CALLED OCT 22ND AND URGED THAT THE WORK BE DONE BEFORE HUSBAND HAD TO GO BACK TO WORK. I HAVE NEVER HEARD BACK FROM KEVIN AND FIND IT INCREDIBLY UNPROFESSIONAL TO "GUARANTEE" A JOB TO BE DONE, AND NEVER FOLLOW UP. WE GAVE KEVIN THREE MONTHS TO GET JOB DONE, EVEN IF OTHER JOBS REQUIRED HIS ATTENTION FIRST, THE TIME PAST AND LACK OF RESPONSE IS UNACCEPTABLE. SEEMED TO BE AWARE OF OUR NEEDS AND OUR TIME CONCERNS UPON INITIAL MEETING. A WRITTEN ESTIMATE WAS NOT PROVIDED, WHEN I ASKED FOR ONE I WAS TOLD "I CAN GET YOU ONE, BUT I WON'T CHANGE MY PRICES ON YOU".
Description of Work: SPOKE TO KEVIN JULY 17TH, CAME OUT A WEEK LATER AND DID ESTIMATE TO INSTALL RECESSED LIGHTING AND OTHER MISC WORK. HE TOLD US HE WOULD BE ON VACATION THE MONTH OF AUGUST, BUT WOULD GET TO US "DEFINITELY IN SEPTEMBER BEFORE WE WERE BUSY WITH ANOTHER CHILD".
