+ -1 moreWe have used Davis in the past and when our A/C unit froze up a few weeks ago, I called them again. They came out the next day, and added R-22 to the unit and it's working great again. No up-sell, no "you need a new unit", just repaired it and said we are good. The work was done quickly and at a very reasonable price. We will use them in the future.

+ -1 moreNeeded furnace work done due to storm damage, contacted Davis Heating, long delay on getting out. Used about $25 worth of material. Here one hour and 15 mintues and charged $700. When questioned unbelieveable price, answered with "don't worry about it, your insurance will take care of it".

Description of Work: I called Bill in the height of the AC season for a very small problem. Instead of coming out and charging me to do work that did not need to be done, he took a few minutes to listen to my diagnosis of the problem and then told me how to fix it. I only live about 5 miles from his shop. He could have come out to take my money and not lost a second on his day, but he did the cool thing and just told me how to fix it. Please use this contractor! He will treat you right!

+ -1 moreThe experience was fine, but, I did have a problem. I had it installed just before Labor Day weekend and the A/C stopped working on that holiday weekend. I called them and they came out early in the morning, the very next day which was a Sunday and fixed it. They also replaced a defective part within the same week and I did not call for that. They themselves realized that one of the parts was not working. It was under warranty, so, I did not have to pay for that. When they came for the service call I thought it was really above & beyond because it was a holiday weekend. The problem was a manufacturing defect and Davis Heating & cooling was just fine.
Description of Work: They replaced the heating & A/C unit for me.

Description of Work: REPLACEMENT OF 13 YEAR OLD CENTRAL AIR CONDITIONING UNIT AND CONDENSER WHICH WORE OUT. REMOVAL OF OLD UNIT AND SITE CLEAN UP.
