I’ve owned a Cape Cod home since new in 1997, Sherrif Gosslin reroofed home 13 yrs ago and did a fantastic job and has taken care of any blown off shingles over the yrs. They just finished yesterday 3-2-2022 and did a great job on our new 13’x26’ addition and was completely done in about 5 hrs. What a great team to work with !!!

Put on new roof.

This is not so much about Sherriff Goslin as it is about the Art-Loc 2nd Century Plus Storm Proof Shingles that they put on my roof. The roofing was done back in April 2011 and everything went fine and I was satisfied. I had picked out Art-Loc shingles to have put on my roof because the literature that Act-Loc provided stated (among other things) that their shingles "delivered superior algae resistance to help keep your roof looking new". Well, 4 years later, I noticed that the shingles on a large section of the roof were starting to turn grey/black. That part of the roof is in shade about half the day so I guess that is the reason. I've contacted S-G about it a few times, but aside from saying they could go up there with a special cleaning solution sometime to clean up the shingles, nothing has been done about it. I even offered to pay for them to do that, but still nothing has been done. And I can't really blame S-G. They didn't advertise shingles that "help keep your roof looking new"; Art-Loc made that claim. Anyway, if I had known these shingles would start turning dark in a few years, I would've gone with a dark color and not the Berkshire green that I did.So this is just a 'heads up' about these shingles. I suppose if I didn't have any trees throwing shade on the house, I wouldn't be having this complaint, so think twice before buying these shingles.

They were contacted and said they would get back to us in 24 hours with a quote. We never heard from them again. We ended up going with a different company then for the repair.

I hired Mark and his crew to tear off the roof and replace it with a new one. They started in October but didn't get much work done. They did the tear off only. I figured they would get this project finished in 4 weeks. The weather was nice enough but they couldn't complete on time. Finally, the roof was completed in November. Afterwards, we had noticed the color of the roof was incorrect. They installed a crystal grey and not crystal white, which we asked for. Also, we found nails laying around the yard and driveway after the job was complete. Our garage is right off the driveway so this could have been a serious issue. They used a metal detector to pick up extra metal and nails but was unable to pick up everything. I was told they would clean up properly. My son, as well, found an empty can up in the eaves of the roof. I found this unprofessional. I paid in cash once complete but I would not have him back for other projects.

Things went great, Sherrif goslin came right out, as soon as the const. crew got the new porch, and both roofs' framed out, from storm damage on June 29, 2012. They had a six man crew, and got the work done, in no time at all. Very professional. Both roofs look great. Work well done. The mess was all cleaned up, and hauled away. I am very satisified with their work.

They are a local company present nationwide. They did an excellent job. The salesman was great, and the manager was great. The work site manager was excellent.

it went ok about the only thing is the guy is not to be trusted he'll make lots of promises but doesn't see them threw i wanted flashing on my chimney and when the workers didn't do that, I pointed it out and they feed me a line to shut me up and nothing has happend since i will give a update after i pay the bill and have the opportunity to say something again about the flashing on my chimney i dont like having to run THEM DOWN to get done what i was promised, and for what i got charged ,thats why i went with them! all my other offers to do the same work was far less money. Have jason write his promises down in detail when you recieve a estimate, these were promises he made but didn't put down his writing is also scratchy and hard to read in case you have to go to court for something its hard to read otherwise so far it looks ok i havin gottin up there yet for a close inspection but i hope i dont find anything esle
