Tony Randol met us on Sept. 17, the day of sale closing of this property, to go over deficiencies noted in an inspection. Our business relationship was conducted by emai, phone and in person (limited) as 85 miles separated us (Greenwood to Marion) from the property in question. He quickly got us an estimate for repairs and we embarked on these in early October when the weather permitted. Tony was the general contractor for the work, but very hands on with it assisting the sub who did the joist reinforcement. He was present during the re-roofing which took more than a day, and performed the drain pipe work himself, noting some other issues for our attention. When the work was completed, he walked me thru it showing what had been done and offered advice on how to keep flat roofs in good repair (they are notorious). I feel the pricing was very fair, and his attention to detail and promptness made a good deal even better.

Once the job was finally started, it went well. Materials were delivered to my mother's home and sat on wooden slats in her yard for several weeks, which killed the grass. He said that he would reseed. That never happened. I was rather put off with MR when, after the job had already been pushed out for several weeks, I was told that a regular customer whom they do a lot of work for, was insisting that they complete his work immediately. MR told me that since this customer was a valued customer, our date would again, be pushed out. The work itself was good. Another point that I did not like was that when a crack appeared on the interior wall immediately following the completion of the roofing job, MR would not take ownership. The paperwork had typos and wasn't the most 'professional' form.

They seemed okay to me. They were courteous and informative. They were punctual. They did a good job. The whole job worked out okay. It took them about three days because they had to work around the weather.
