Description of Work: Hired to wire building. After numerous weeks of excuses and not showing up contractor had to be let go so for another contractor. New contractor, as well as city building commissioner, verified that work that had been completed was not done correctly and had to be redone. I would not hire this individual again.

Description of Work: This contractor never showed up when he said he would. I had to call him every day! He knows his trade & did a good job with the work he did, but he did not finish the job & has never returned any of my calls to him._x000D_|He also WAY OVER CHARGED ME! He gave me a written quote of $1500, plus the cost of buying a portable generator. He got me all confused with all the different charges, then even tried to charge me $2000 for a $1000 portable generator! I did catch that one! It's my own fault for allowing him to cheat me like that, but a lot of other things were going on in my life at the time & I was not paying close enough attention! Plus, he came with very good references - even other electricians in town gave him a good reference! Lesson learned!
