ON THE LEVEL CONSTRUCTION

If I do the work, I will probably use him. He came out and spent a lot of time with me. He talked with me and he had good ideas. We had the same thinking. He’s experienced and he knows what he’s talking about. He gave me a lot of useful tips. You could just tell by talking with him that he really knew what he was talking about and not just saying for the sake of it. He was very knowledgeable. He gave me a free estimate. I wanted to know whether he was going to do an interior demolition and then also put a new roof on it. I really haven’t done any work as yet. I will probably use him because I really liked the guy. I got a couple of estimates and his was very reasonable. I don’t even live up there and he just came on his own and looked at the house. He got on the roof and checked it out, and I wasn’t even there. He was very efficient and very good. Once I did get there, I called and told him that I would be coming up to the house, and asked him if he could come and meet me. He met me and spent quite a bit of time at no charge or anything. He was really excellent. He was excellent on responsiveness, punctuality and professionalism. I will use his services again in the future.

He came out to fix a leak from our roof into our house that a previous roofer supposedly fixed a few weeks earlier. He actually went up into our attic from inside the house to help diagnose where the leak was coming from, and then explained what he thought the problem was, and how he was going to fix it. He estimated price and said he'd have to buy some materials at home improvement store. He came out in the immediate aftermath of the floods in Munster, IN, so we felt lucky. He had other estimates to go give in Munster to fix up after flooding that day, but he promised to be back in the afternoon and fix the roof. He came back as promised, had the receipt from the home improvement store, fixed the roof, showed me what he did, told me how to make sure the roof wasn't leaking again, and said to call him if it leaked again. Hopefully that won't happen, but if it does, we hope he will actually come fix it. The guy was professional, looked professional, had a clean and organized truck, and performed the services in the time and for the estimate of what we expected. The only thing left unanswered is if he'd show up to back up his warranty, if necessary.
