Description of Work: Removed outdated light fixture in bathroom and replaced with new decorative hurricane light above mirror. Terry measured and centered the light perfectly above the mirror. He was able to patch the dry wall that was torn from the adhesive removing the old light, and he touched up the paint perfectly around the new light. A dimmer switch was also installed. I thought Terry was very professional, he answered my initial phone call right away and scheduled an appointment to have job done the following week, as per my request. He was also timely and very polite on the job. I would most definetly use this service again.

Description of Work: Terry replaced all outdoor light fixtures and even bought them for me. Very professional and on time. Also removed broken window blinds and old curtain rods.

Description of Work: Actually I sent Terry an email to get a quote on a job that I needed done ASAP. Since he couldn't do the job in the time-frame I needed, he graciously referred me to someone in my area (also on Angie's List) who he thought would do the work well and might be able to fit me in. I really appreciate his being so helpful as I was having trouble finding anyone who could do the job and do it in the time frame I needed. His referral had the work done within a couple of days of the original call. Very nice man!

Description of Work: When the house was constructed the builder did not nail the sub floor to the beams in the crawl space in one area of the master bedroom. Since we had carpet in this area it was not noticeable until we decided to put in hardwood floors. Terry came out went into the crawl space and diagnosed the problem. He then proceeded to cut out the sub floor in that area and attach 2-2x10 pieces of wood to the affected beam which widen the surface of that beam so the new sub floor could be secured.

Description of Work: We contacted Terry McKenzie of Freedom Home Services due to his rating, customer reviews, and convenience to our home. We are doing some remodeling which required some ''tricky'' woodworking and needed a craftsman who would make sure it blended with our existing cabinets. Terry assessed the project, gave us a fair price and time frame for the job and completed it as represented. Terry helped with some additional little things outside the initial estimate at no charge. Terry is professional, dependable, and very consciencous.

Description of Work: Freedom finished the inside of part of our garage to keep chipmunks from getting into the walls. As always, the work was done professionally, on-time, and within estimates.

Description of Work: Installed cabinets in bathroom and sink. Also, handles on the cabinets. took out an old laundry shoot and drywalled. Also, installed a new lighting fixture.

Description of Work: I would recommend Freedom Home Services because when I explained the job that I wanted, the owner offered another vendor as the job was outside the scope that he felt comfortable doing. Rather than do a poor job, he declined. I respect that information.

Description of Work: Terry scheduled a time to come out to do the work I requested, he arrived on time and started working right away. The original job of installing new fixtures in two bathrooms and one new bathroom sink was expanded to include tile work in the master bathroom. For the tile work he needed to return several times and he made it the last stop of his day so that I would not need to leave work. He also looked at the second bathroom tub fixture and did research to see if it could be repaired. About two weeks later he called said that he could repair it but that the internal parts were copper and might be expensive. He gave me an estimate and I authorized the repair. It was completed and now both bathrooms are working properly. He cleans up the areas where he works and takes pride in what he does. I would recommend him to anyone. He knows what he can do and when to call in outside help.

Description of Work: No work performed. Because of the time that Mr. Lee was backed up, we found a relative that could do the work for us. Mr Lee was very nice to talk to and was up front about how long he was backed up.
