Terry listened carefully to me, as I described my need, and he asked several good questions about the work to be done. He was unable to fit me into his schedule within the timeframe that I required, so he provided to me the contact information for another handyman, who was available for this urgent task and who did an excellent job. I am very grateful to Terry for his superb service, helping me, via a good referral, to resolve my problem.

Scorch marks around an electrical outlet are never good, though because these were out in the garage, they may have been there for a while. Terry scheduled me the morning after I called. As he replaced the outlet, he explained the code requirements that had kept us from having a fire. He was done very quickly and so, knocked some off his normal minimum charge.

He was very responsive and timely. We appreciated his service.

Terry is very reasonable on pricing and has all the tools needed for the job in his truck. He was on time, ready to start working immediately. Unfortunately after examining the work that needed to be done, he told me that he couldn't resolve one of the issues. He provided a very thorough explanation regarding why he can't fix the issue and told me who I should contact to get it fixed. I very much appreciate his honesty and great attitude and will be calling him again if I need any repairs done.

I thought we would have to replace my mothers toilet when the tank refill slowed to a trickle but Terry replaced the internal mechanism and saved her nearly $300. Very responsive and it sure is nice to have someone you trust to do household repairs. Thanks Terry

Arrived promptly, went to work immediately and finished the job in basically an hour. Impressive as the new unit did not match up properly to the brackets for the old, thus some exact measurements were needed before installation could take place. Terry carries all the tools that were needed for the job and ensured the microwave oven was working properly prior to leaving.

I use Terry a lot over the years. He is very good at problem solving. If I am having difficulty with something in the house, he is able to figure out why and how to repair it. If he can't, he is able to advise me on what to do and where to go for assistance. He is unbelievable! He is a very good problem solver and can anticipate what needs to be done for me. He is also very honest and the price is very reasonable for what I get.

I have been using them for about 4-5 years. Their pricing is fair. If you have an emergency he is very responsive and comes as quickly as he can. He knows how to fix everything and always does the job right. He is very responsive and always answers his phone. He will also always call you back. He is self-employed and owns the business.

He was professional, He was ontime, He had a very nice personality, He taught me quite a lot, I am so happy I found him. I would recommend him very highly. It didnt take him that long either.

It went well. He had just replaced the outside outlet last year but it does not have a proper cover so water got in and damaged it. Since it is an older unit he has been unable to locate a proper cover but indicated he would continue to look for something to protect it. In addition, he replaced an inside outlet that was sparking. I have used him at least 4 times for electrical issues and I will continue to use him in the future.

My son hired Terry to do work around his house so he could get it ready to sell. When my son moved to Florida, I took over renovation of the house. Terry continued to work on the house, repairing the things he thought needed to be done. When he encountered mold, which would probably scare anyone else away, he continued the work and cleaned up the area so it looked like new. He replaced toilets, vanities, mirrors, wood trim, light fixtures, caulked around the house, filled in cracks and crevices that looked impossible to repair, did plumbing and electrical work and much, much more. All with his usual smile and enthusiasm and with a skill that amazed me. No matter what I say or how many compliments I give Terry nothing can describe how much I appreciate all the work he did and his input on what needed to be done. He is honest, reliable and extremely pleasant. My son's house sold in six days for above the asking price, because it looked move in ready and it was. Thanks to Terry we had no trouble selling the house. I would recommend Terry without hesitation.

They were great. The work was great quality. They were very efficient and extremely neat. They got a lot of work done in a short amount of time.

He has been my guy on and off for a number of years. His prices are always really good. I've never been upset about his pricing. He did a good job. If I need him, I will call him again.

We have used him before. My daughter has also used his services. He is on time and honest. He is meticulous and does good work.

Over the holiday weekend, we blew a circuit in our kitchen. I went to the electrical box and saw a switch that was not in line with the others so I flipped it back/forth but it would not go all the way back. I then flipped the other switches and they all went all the way back. I got on Angie's List this morning and searched for an electrician that was geographically close to our house. I got Terry at Freedom Home Services. He was in our neighborhood and came right over. He determined there was nothing really wrong other than I had not flipped the switch ALL the way over to the right. I told him that I couldn't push it any farther right; should have asked my husband to help but didn't know it needed a stronger push. At any rate, Terry fixed our problem; refused any payment at all. We are glad to know that he not only does electrical but many household/handyman-type services. We were impressed with his honesty, quick service and professional manner. We will definitely call him when the need arises.

He was very reasonable and he did a real good job. What makes me continue to use him are his promptness, his professionalism and the fact that he is so reasonable. I have used him three times now.

Terry was easy to reach on the phone and communicate with throughout the project. He has a professional and friendly demeanor and is someone I feel comfortable having in our home by myself with small children. (Being a stay-at-home mom, that is very important to me.) I would recommend him without hesitation to any of my friends or neighbors. As an added bonus, Terry was able to come out the same day I called him. Although I realize this may not always be the case due to scheduling constraints, I appreciated Terry's willingness to squeeze me into his schedule since our pool cover was stuck in the "open" position and I was worried about the safety ramifications of having small children around it. We always hire terry whenever we need handyman services. He has installed our sump pump, backup sump pump, water softener, put together the exercise bike, installed lighting in other rooms and electrical outlets, decorate lightning and the motion light in the back and front yard and put them on timers and installed a mailbox. If we need anything we call him first!

Terry did a quick and professional repair. He also provided some other minor services.
