They did an excellent job. I wasn't sure my deck and fence could be saved since it had been a while since I had done anything to them. But, with a lot of hard work and care, everything looks fabulous now. Dale leans toward perfectionism. He and his helper took a lot of time and care to make sure everything was done right and the customer is pleased. He explained to us that the stain penetrates into the wood and hydrates it so it retards cracking. And there is a warranty for both the deck and the fence. I highly recommend Desk Rescue.

Work took some time to get scheduled but was performed diligently and results were high quality and in-line with estimate and expectations. The deck required a large amount of stripping before resealing which was done successfully. If you have a deck needing rework I recommend Deck Rescue as an option.

Not well. Me Woody was very slow in responding to a request for estimate. When he did come to look at the project he was very nice and professional. Said he was very busy and would be July before could do work but would send estimate early the following week. I said the timing was fine. That has been 3 weeks ago and still have not heard from him. Not professional!!! If he doesn’t want to do the project a quick text could have given me that info. Am now going to look for another worker.

The rainy spring and summer pushed back the timing on when Dale was able to complete our job, but we're pleased with his work and the results.

The time was reflective of having to deal with weather and rain conditions. It was at least a couple of hundred dollars, but that was a stab-guess. Their punctuality was right on. They were very clear in describing what they were going to do and very in-line with their predictions and behaviors regarding interruptions and checked before they left to make sure we were satisfied. They were very professional, very instructive, and very customer-service oriented. We brought them back a second time this past year and would use them again.

He was very meticulous. They were very informative and very clear of what they were going to do. Then they followed through exactly as they indicated. I would say they were entirely professional and trustworthy. They communicated very well. The work turned out very good. They told us how long it would last and gave us a candid prediction. When we called them back, it was very much in line with what they indicated would be the case. It was a very reasonable price. They were very responsive, not just to us, but in anticipation of weather conditions. Their punctuality was right on. We used them again in 2017 and we will use them again, probably in 3 years.

It was a lot of work, I think it was a fair price. I waited a long time for them to do the work. They are knowledgeable about the wood and how to treat it. They were professional and did what it took to do a good job.

The only reason I didn't rate my experience as an F was due to the responsive with getting the quote appointment setup and the people weren't mean. But after a re-schedule (which is 'ok') and then an almost 30 minute late 1st meeting (which the owner argued was only a little over 20 mins) with no 'sorry I am going to be late' courtesy call, I don't think this business is the best fit for me. Punctuality and courtesy/respect for my free time outside of work are very important to me when selecting a business to work with. If you are going to be late to the first meeting, what does that tell me? Especially when it is a rescheduled appointment because the owner couldn't make it to the first one.

Dale stripped and power washed the deck which took about eight hours. He returned a couple of weeks later (due to weather conditions) after it had dried thoroughly and the temperatures were warm enough to stain (Cedar Tone). He and Laurie then stained the deck which took about five hours. It looks amazing! It rained that night and the temperature dropped but the water beaded up and had no negative effect on the wood. I trust Dale completely when it comes to staining wood. We are so pleased. Dale, Kelli, and Laurie are easy to work with and conscientious. They are the kind of people that you want to back again. According to Dale we won't have to though since the product he uses is commercial grade and has a warranty for three years and lasts two to three times longer than retail products. Our railing was replaced by Wagoner Handyman Services at a cost of $1250.00. The cost of the staining included the railing and stripping of the deck. We are so pleased. Thank you Dale, Kelli and Laurie. You were a pleasure to work with.

It went very well. Mr. Woody and his team were thorough, efficient, knowledgeable, and courteous.

The price quote was higher than any other estimate we received, but the quality of the service was better than other deck maintenance service providers we have used. The owner, Dale Woody, was on site most of the time and did some of the work himself. After the job was done and paid for, Mr Woody came back and gave it another coat without additional charge. Our 25+ year old deck looks great again. The commercial-grade stain is higher quality than most people use. Highly recommended.

The work done was good but it took a really long time for them to get out and do the work. We signed the contractor agreement in May but he didn't come out until September or early October. It was completed within two days once the work started. When we got the quote, they said that it would be mid June or end of June.

They did a wonderful job! They were very thorough, and the deck looks great. I was very pleased.

Woody was amazing. Our deck turned out to be a horrendous job for them. We had applied Deckover the previous summer, and it had already started peeling by the following spring. They spent a couple of days removing the initial layer of Deckover and then another 2 days of solid sanding to remove it all. Around the edges of the deck, in between the small decorative posts, and between the boards, they had to use a special sander to remove the Deckover because it had soaked into the wood. Next, Woody replaced broken and cracked boards, and he sanded between boards that were too close together (it made the water pool on the deck). then they sanded all the boards and painted them with the oil-based paint. He had warned us that he never tried removing Deckover before and that the final cost might be a little more than the estimate. it was (and really by only a little), but it was definitely worth every single penny. The deck looks amazing now. We love the oil-based paint because it looks natural. You can see the wood, the grain, the knots, etc., We thought we would have to completely replace the deck but he restored it to look better than the day it was built. We will definitely call him in 3 years to come back and give our deck another coat.

They removed the furniture from the deck and powerwashed the deck. Since we were having a party on the deck in three days, I was told that I should wait to have the preservative applied since they couldn't guarantee that it would be dry on the flat surfaces where people might sit. So two weeks later they were back to apply the preservative. Again they removed the furniture. On both occasions I had to replace the furniture, but they did offer to come back and help if I needed it. I declined. I gave a B in price because their price had risen 35% since four years ago. However, since they've always done a great job, I accepted the big price hike.

They did a good job. They were good. They were on time and showed up when they said they were going to show up. They did a quality job. The deck does need to be done about every three or four years. So I would consider using them again.

DAle Wondy of deck rescue has been maintaining my deck for 10 years. I feel comfortable having dale on my property. He always does an excellent job.

A person often wonders if a company will be there to honor their warranty. When I noticed that a number of areas of the deck were not holding the stain, I contacted Dale Woody. The deck was within the warranty period. He evaluated the situation, and the deck was completely redone at no charge. Deck = approximately 1800 sq. ft.. Nice to work with honest, no hassle people. You get what you pay for.
