DECK RESCUE INC

Because of the June rains that we had, it took a while, but that wasn't his fault. I had tried to do the deck myself twice, so there was a lot of damage for him to fix. He was a couple hundred dollars more than other estimates, but it was well worth it. They were very good about returning calls and keeping in touch.

The work was done in '07. I'm filing this report now because I wanted to see how the job survived the winter. A few years ago, a different company did the same job which looked fine that summer, but looked absolutely horrible after the first winter. I'm happy to say that Deck Rescue's work held up very well.

Timely estimate, and estimate seems reasonable, we just wanted our deck done sooner.

Dale and his crew were great to work with. My husband and I were very impressed with their professionalism, price, and the finished product.

They did the job in a fairly timely manner. The owner was out on the job. Came back and fixed some of the areas that looked like they didn't take stain.

They did very well. They were very accommodating.

I asked this company to give me an estimate for re-sealing and re-staining my deck. I was impressed with their professionalism and punctuality but their price was too high.

They were reasonably priced, and the work was completed as quoted, regardless of the fact that they had to return a second time to powerwash. At their initial visit, there was a problem with the outside water spigot, and they could not complete work until I had the problem fixed.

They did a nice job. In the past when I've had work done, bushes just got destroyed. This time, no plantings were hurt around the deck. They also did a great job on the deck itself.

Never showed up as scheduled. Never called. Did not return my call.

They were a wonderful company to work with. Although they were a bit expensive, it was well worth it to save my deck. They were very prompt in giving me an estimate, arrived at the scheduled time, and did an excellant job.

High integrity, excellent work and clean up, total dependability regarding accomplishments promised. Ran a little more than originally planned because the process discovered a structurally unsound support area that I fully agreed also needed to be redone--the combined price was as shown and I believe it to be fair. Strongly recommended. Weather sometimes affects the timing regarding what can be done when.

Prompt reply to warranty question. Excellent quality work with no hassle about the warranty. It pays to use reliable companies.

HE OFFERED TO SAND MY DECK FOR FREE WITHOUT CHARGING ME BECAUSE HE FELT IT WAS THE BEST WAY TO RESTORE IT. HE EVEN SENT A CHRISTMAS CARD. HE'S DELIGHTFUL AND REALLY CARED ABOUT THE WOOD ON THE DECK. VERY NICE GUY AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. I NEVER IMAGINED THAT GRAY WOOD CAN RETURN TO LOOKING LIKE NORMAL WOOD, I AM JUST BLOWN AWAY. THE ESTIMATE WAS THE BEST OUT OF THREE ESTIMATES.

I ACTUALLY CALLED THIS COMPANY BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF A COLLEAGUE. MY FIRST PHONE CALL WAS RETURNED VERY PROMPTLY, HOWEVER, IT TOOK THEM WEEKS TO RETURN MY SECOND PHONE CALL AND ACTUALLY COME OUT AND GIVE THE ESTIMATE. BY THEN I HAD WRITTEN THEM OFF. THE ESTIMATE WAS ALSO SEVERAL HUNDRED DOLLARS MORE THAN THE COMPANY I EVENTUALLY WENT WITH. GRANTED, SOMEONE DID FINALLY CALL AND APOLOGIZE FOR THE TARDINESS, HOWEVER, BY THAT TIME IT WAS TOO LATE.

SEVERAL PROBLEMS WITH RETURN OF TELEPHONE CALLS, BUT SINCE I'D USED THIS COMPANY BEFORE, I PERSISTED, WOULDN'T HAVE HAD IT BEEN A COMPANY NEW TO ME. THE CREW BEGAN WORKING ON THE DECK WITHOUT LETTING ME KNOW THEY WERE HERE. JUST A COURTESY, BUT I PREFER NOT TO BE SURPRISED BY NOISES OF UNKNOWN ORIGIN JUST OUTSIDE MY DOOR, ESPECIALLY WHEN THE PREDICTED DATE OF SERVICE SEEMED TO FLOAT.

THIS IS THE 2ND TIME I'VE USED THIS COMPANY. DALE DID MY DECK 5 YRS. AGO. THE PRODUCT WARRANTY IS FOR 3 YRS., MINE LOOKED GOOD FOR 4 YRS. LOVE THE PRODUCT - STAINS AND PROTECTS, BUT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE ''PAINT''. DALE WAS WILLING TO CHANGE SCHEDULE A COUPLE OF TIMES FOR ME, TO ACCOMMODATE OTHER WORK HAPPENING ON EXTERIOR OF HOUSE. STAINING WAS DONE THOROUGHLY - ROBERT TOOK HIS TIME, DID A VERY NICE JOB. ONLY IMPROVEMENT OPPORTUNITY IS IN RESPONSIVENESS - IT DID TAKE A COUPLE OF WEEKS TO GET THE ESTIMATE, AND PHONE CALLS USUALLY TOOK 24 HRS. TO RETURN.

HE ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD AND SAT DOWN WITH US TO EXPLAIN HIS PROCESS.

DALE WOODY IS A VERY COURTEOUS GUY AND THE WORK HE DOES IS SUPERIOR. SOMETIMES HIS LABORERS DON'T PROVIDE HIM WITH THE SAME QUALITY LEVEL OF SERVICE HE OR HIS CUSTOMERS WOULD LIKE, BUT HE IS CONTINUING TO TRAIN THEM.
