Description of Work: They stained the entire deck and stairway.

Description of Work: Power washed and refinished 2 decks. Did a splendid job with a 2 year warrenty. Both decks were in heavily planted gardens; and the decks were refinished without damaging a single plant!

Description of Work: We built a huge cedar deck in 2007 and we sealed it ourselves (my husband is very handy and knowledgeable) so based on recommendations of product we did it. After the winter we noticed the deck peeling. We came across Dale with Desk Rescue at one of the home shows. He came out and gave us a estimate and we proceeded to go with him. he came out and power washed everything off and then sealed it again. It did not last, after the winter, we had problems and contacted him, of course getting of hold of him is not the easiest to do. If your first contact with him it is, but if you have a PROBLEM, it's almost impossible to get ahold of him. We finally got a hold of him and came back out and said this time he would have to sand it all down. HE advised that since we were WARRANTY work, he needed to take care of his PAYING JOBS FIRST! He had a worker that came out to do and he took off all our railings. The did the work and the helper put back on the railing, but not the way they originally were put on or aligned up (my husband is still furious) again, it did not last when winter was over. I emailed Dale last spring (2010) and it was finally about October that he contacted my husband and said he would be in the area and would stop by to look at it. We were not home and he said we didn't need to be. That is the last time we have ever heard from him! We have contacted another company which is going to come out and do our deck and now need to work on dealing with the issue of our deck has been under warranty with no satisfaction and so need to follow up with reimbursement or legal actions. I understand he is a one man show, however, if you're going to run a company like this, then you should have a receptionist and should treat each customer equally and not put the customers that have warranty work on the back burner.......they should be first and foremost on top of the list as they have already paid for the service and is only trying to get satisfaction from a service and product that was promised. Yes, he is very nice, however, the way the company is ran is a total different story. I am really shocked to see positive outcomes.........because I know ours have not been and we have been very patient , but I would like to enjoy my deck with winter is over and the weather becomes nice, instead of not getting to use it like it was made for because don't want to put out all the deck furniture, etc., only to have to have it scattered in the yard when work is to be done.

Description of Work: DECK PRESSURE WASHED AND ALL HORIZONTAL SURFACES SEALED (VERTICAL SURFACES DIDN''T NEED WORK). THE DECK HAD BEEN WASHED AND SEALED 2 YEARS AGO BY THE SAME PROVIDER, WHO GUARANTEED THE WORK FOR 3 YEARS. SINCE IT HAD TO BE DONE IN 2 YEARS, A DISCOUNT WAS PROVIDED. I ALSO ASKED THE PROVIDER TO CHECK UNDER THE DECK RE THE CONDITION OF THE VISQUEEN APPLIED WHEN THE DECK WAS INSTALLED, AND HE DID SO WITH NO CHARGE.
