needed to have lawn mowing for remainder of season. Not available as service was full.

We moved into a home in a new subdivision where sod had been put down on hard clay with no topsoil to give it a chance to grow. I called Deater Brothers of Brownsburg and they came over the next day, made an assessment of what we needed, gave us a price that sounded reasonable, and I agreed. Since it was already mid Sept. they worked us into their schedule and completed the job that same week. They came in and brought 3 yds of topsoil to fill in several low spots. Then they slit seeded the entire lawn and treated for weeds. It's been only a few weeks but already the new grass is growing and filling in all the bare places where the sod had died. It looks amazing and we could not be happier.

This is my wnd year using Deater Brothers for my lawn treatments. For 6 treatments a year and aeration in the fall hou will not find a better deal. They are punctual and let you know if there will be delays. They respond within 24 hours to requests and always are fair. If it rains after they spray they will come back out if you are not satisfied. I recently had a patio put in and the crew concrete crew destroyed our yard as expeded. I will be using Deaters to help repair the issues. I trust they will get the job done.

We were promised mulch to be completed by memorial day weekend. That did not happen. They then came a week late and just mulched the front. We paid for edging as well but they did not edge. They claimed they would do the front yard and backyard mulch. They forgot to do the back. I e-mailed the owner (Josh) and he was unresponsive, as usual. I then called their office and spoke with Chris. He promised to come out the same day and mulch the back. This was 3 days ago and it still has not been completed. They are getting too big and make false promises all the time. They typically take a week or more to respond to e-mails and often lie on the phone.

I am very pleased with Deater Brothers Lawn & Tree Care. I started using them in the summer of 2017 after being very frustrated with lack of communication from my previous lawn care. They are the fourth service I've tried in six years and are by far the best! My lawn looks fantastic. They're very responsive, pricing is reasonable, and they have done a great job. I will definitely continue using them.

I'd give them an "A" overall. The quality of the work, stands out to me. The lawn looks good. The price is pretty good.

I specifically asked about treating the lawn on rainy days and was assured that this didn't happen. They came out and treated in the morning and it rained the rest of the day! I called and they agreed to come out and re-treat. They came back out on another very rainy day. Very disappointing.

It's early - the lawn season is still young - but so far things are going very well. They may cost a little more than smaller one- or two-man operations, but the level of service and responsiveness more than makes up for it!

I have dealt with Deater Bros. for approx. 2 years and they have always done a good job. They do my fertilizing, aerating, spray for bugs around perimeter of house and cut the grass - all jobs have been done when scheduled and their prices are very fair and they are certainly easy to deal with. This job done last week was done promptly and efficiently and they cleaned up after themselves. The yard looks great and will be even better when spring really rolls around.

They're very prompt. They come out and do their job efficiently and effectively. I originally hired them to clean out one of my gardens, and that went so well I hired them to treat my lawn. I am very happy with them and I would recommend them to anyone.

They aerated and put down grass seed and it's too soon to know. We were very pleased with their mowing.

I do not want to say that i am satisfied because am not. He did what i asked, but i do not know whether i got eights hours of work like i paid for, since i wasn't there when he did the work. The work was done but there was lack of communication, so i was not pleased. I do not feel like i had the chance to ensure that the work i wanted done got done.

They were always responsive to what I needed completed. They did a good job. I would recommend them.

Complete and thorough job with nice sized plugs. Better job then when I had a large national chain perform the same service.

This is the third time in the last year and a half to my lawn aerated. I've used three different companies as well. I'd have to say that Deater Brothers did the best job. The plugs that they pulled from the yard were a very good size. This was exactly what my lawn needed. The only thing that I'd like to see improve is communication with the company. It took a little while longer to schedule this service that I would've thought. I also had to reach out to the company to reschedule the service date (instead of the other way around) after the original date got washed out. Luckily, this wasn't that big of a deal since the timing of the service wasn't critical. Overall, a good experience and would recommend them.

The service was great. Two men arrived on time and worked for 8 hours each. They did everything I asked including trimming all of my bushes around the house, trimming my weeping willow tree, sprayed weed killer, cleaned out an over grown flower bed by my gas tank and they also cleaned out underneath my lilac bushed. They loaded all of the debris and trimmings up and hauled it all away. I hired them for additional hours but they honored the same rate I had initially paid on Angie’s List. I was so impressed with their service that I called them afterwards to thank them.

I wasn't at home at the time but the area was cleared and clean. Didn't look likely yard. Which was a good thing.

It went great. They were very quick to contact me and did the work within two weeks. I was very pleased with their work. I asked them to come back and fix one small thing and they did it very quickly. I would definitely use them again.

They are very knowledgeable in what they do. They are very easy to get a hold of and communicate with. Their prices are reasonable. They are very helpful in either implementing a plan you have or help you come up with other design....they can help you either way.
