 + -1 moreHe very professional, I would use him again. These locks were over 20 years and was able to work right out of his vehicle, with top equipment. It took him about 2 hours.
Description of Work: Service Call Rekey Cylinders 6 on house. Labor on door frames, lubered locks and doors. Make 3 copy keys.

Description of Work: Had to repair 2 doors on house locks, rekey cylinders, make key knob, make copy keys, the l 2 locks were dead locks and 2 regular locks. Lubed the locks.

 + -1 moreHe couldn't come out for two days but told me to call him when I was leaving work on wednesday. I contacted him and said I would be out about 5pm that day. I waited until 6:30 and called him to see where he was and he tried to tell me an excuse for the delay. He could have called me if he could not make it or was going to be late but he did not. When I told him I wasn't interested in what happened he told me to find someone else and hung up on me.
Description of Work: I called him to repair a door knob.

 + -1 moreThe owner called me back promptly after I left a message. He was concerned that I was locked out of the house. I wasn't, as I could get in and out through the garage. He had a few people before me, but said he could be here by noon. I ended up not using him because another local locksmith was able to come out a few hours earlier, which meant I would miss less work. I think this company would have been a good choice.
Description of Work: I called because my front door lock broke and we could not open the door at all.

 + -1 moreOur family recently moved to the Indy area. We needed several entrance/exit doors re-keyed. I called Dustin and we arranged an appointment for the same week. He was very polite and professional, he did an exceptional job, and he even went out of his way to repair the front door for proper dead bolt latching (at no charge!). I would highly recommend this company (which is owned and operated by Dennis) for any locksmith needs.
Description of Work: Dustin re-keyed several door cylinders, provided keys and re-drilled and prepped front door strikes for proper dead bolt latching.

Description of Work: My back door wasn't shutting completely and would pop open unless it was dead-bolted. Dustin came when called and re-drilled the "catch plate" and now the door shuts and stays shut. He fixed my dead bolt too, since it wasn't locking completely either.

 + -1 moreHE CAME BACK TWICE IN RESPONSE TO OUR REQUESTS. ONE PARTICULAR LOCK DID NOT WORK AT ALL. NOT ONLY DID HE DETERMINE THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSED BY THE TIME OF DAY AND THEREFORE HEATING FROM THE MORNING SUN, BUT HE DID NOT CHARGE US FOR THE ADDITIONAL VISITS. HE TRULY STANDS BEHIND HIS WORK. BY THE WAY, HE SUGGESTED PAINTING THE METAL DOOR A LIGHTER COLOR TO REFLECT HEAT RATHER THAN ABSORB IT.
Description of Work: HE INSTALLED/REPLACED ALL THE LOCKS FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD POOL.

Description of Work: AFTER WAITING 3 HOURS FOR ANOTHER COMPANY TO SHOW UP, I CALLED THIS COMPANY. I WAS PROMISED SERVICE WITHIN 30-45 MINUTES. HE TOLD ME EVERYTHING AS HE WAS DOING IT, GOT THE JOB DONE QUICKLY AND CHARGED ME A REASONABLE RATE. NEEDING A LOCKSMITH IS NOT FUN BUT HE MANAGED TO MAKE IT AS STRESSLESS AS POSSIBLE (EVEN TALKED TO MY KITTY WHO WAS LOCKED OUT WITH ME!). AND WAS $25 LESS THAN THE OTHER COMPANY.
