+ -1 moreOn 9/26/17, I had my system serviced due to a water leak from the inside unit. The technician discovered that the condensation drainpipe was not installed correctly to allow for proper drainage and this resulted in an eventual clog. The technician also discovered that only the 2nd stage was working, so after reviewing the system manuals, he quickly identified the problem; not wired correctly. After correcting the wiring errors, the system began to respond as it should with both an operational stage 1 and stage 2. Last night the system worked better than ever and the noise level was greatly reduced. The outside unit also seemed to run better. The errors in installation by Nail Home Service are not something that I could have seen or known about, but I do have to wonder how much extra money I have paid in electricity since this system was installed and only running in stage 2 ever since installation in July 2014. This is three full years? Also, I suspect the system has been aged prematurely due to running in 2nd stage all this time; it didn’t know it could run at any slower speed due to the wiring error. Nail Home Services in an authorized dealer and installer of Tempstar heat pump systems like he installed at my home.
Description of Work: Nail Home Services installed a new two-stage heat pump system and inside furnace/fan unit in July 2014. Mr. Nail made numerous visits in getting the system bugs supposedly worked out. I admit that my house has stayed cool since this installation, but when the fan blows, it is like a tornado event in the ducts; making a lot of wind noise.

They ran into a few snags along the way but quickly had them taken care of because They had also put my new furnace in a few years earlier so everything was familiar to them. Anytime I have Ever needed any service on my old systems I would call Nail and they managed to get to me that day! I've recommended them to my friends and family

Description of Work: Installed an AC unit. Came quickly and finished quickly. Great job and great clean up afterwards. Bill Nail had come to us in February in the dead of winter when temperatures were in the single digits and our 40 year old furnace went out. He came the same day we called and had it installed quickly. Ours was a difficult job because the old one was hanging in a crawl space.
