+ 0 moreHe does a lot of work in the subdivision I live in. He was timely and did a good job with my project. His staff was really good and cleanup up after itself. I did not get a cost estimate from anybody else but his price was fair. He was punctual and professional. We had a bit of a delay because he had hurt himself a couple of days before.
Description of Work: I used Jim Jones Painting to paint a door and the frame around the door.

+ -1 moreMr. Jones gave us a quote in the spring to clean, paint and stain our deck. At the time he relayed that he was 3 weeks out in his work schedule. Even though he eventually did respond to our numerous phone calls, he never actually did the work. I cannot rate the quality of his work since it was never done. He has done quality work in our area but I cannot give testament to that. I normally would not give a negative rating, but the lack of responsiveness on Mr. Jones' part has prompted this review.

+ 0 moreDid a good job but had all kinds of excuses as to why a 4 day job turned into 17 days. Then on the day he finished he got upset because I had plans and couldn't meet him that night he said that he "WANTED TO GET PAID". After I was patient with him he got upset.

+ 0 moreJim arrived on time and has all supplies needed He got right work filing in nail holes, then also fixed "dips" in the ceiling. He painted the areas to be painted and even dusted the 14' windows for me while up there. He did not waste time and arrived when he said he would daily for the remainder of the job. He used quality pain and it still look great.
Description of Work: Jim Jones arrived to paint my living room and upstairs hall. He then also removed the remainder of kitchen and bathroom wall paper and painted both those rooms. Then painted the exterior of my house.

+ 0 moreThe first word I would use to describe Jim Jones is trustworthy. I felt perfectly comfortable going to work and about my days, leaving him to complete his work at my home. He was always on time, always personable, always professional AND he did a great job. He was amazingly quick about it too. I will definitely call him again if the need arises and I would definitely recommend his services to others.
Description of Work: Services provided Feb and March of 2012 included: Painting of the interior of my entire home - ceilings, walls, trim and doors; including stripping of wallpaper in my kitchen, preparing the walls and repairing drywall seams. Service provided April 2012 included pressure washing and painting my deck, deck stairs and garage door trim.
