+ -1 moreCarroll and Son were very nice. They explained everything and were very neat. They did not leave a mess, they were on time and reasonably priced. I have already put him in my address book for future jobs.
Description of Work: Removed and installed new kitchen sink and fixture. Fixed a clogged bathroom tub faucet. Fixed outdoor water hose supply. Work lasted about 3 hours.

+ 0 moreWe did agree upon an earlier time of arrival, but he kept in good contact and requested a later time on the designated day and came within 30 minutes of that time.. Overall, I was very pleased with his communication and quality of work.
Description of Work: A PVC pipe which ran through my exterior garage wall to an outside water faucet was split. The plumber returned my call within 24 hours and fixed the problem within 48 hours. He spent time educating me on how to effectively drain the line, replaced the PVC with copper pipe and added a levered stopcock to the drainage valve used to drain this line. He also replaced the old shut off on the outside faucet with a levered shut off to minimize motion to this area through the wall. He came on a Sunday and did not charge an additional fee for a weekend visit. He also taught me how to change my whole house water filter. He appeared very knowledgeable and was an excellent teacher!

+ -1 moreThe plumber was here for maybe a half hour maximum. He swapped out the connection and I've not had any problems with it since. He came out and looked at the problem and had it fixed in no time.
Description of Work: I needed to have a leak repaired in a joint where plastic connected with copper. Those two components are not compatible.

+ -1 moreI called Bob, the owner, and told him about the leak. I said it was not an emergency, but I was concerned. Jason arrived within an hour, worked quickly and efficiently, and fixed the problem. He stayed a short while to make sure the repair held. He was very personable and professional. I felt the charge was extremely reasonable. They also do heat and air and I will certainly call them for future work.
Description of Work: Jason, the company's tech, fixed a leak between the water softener mechanism and the copper supply lines, a difficult transition because the line goes from copper to plastic. He soldered on new threaded fittings and redid all connections to make sure the leak stopped. He also checked a poor-draining sink and discovered the stopper was mis-installed. He fixed that, also.
