What should of been a small easy fence job to keep our dogs in the yard, ended up turning into a horrible experience. Our entire experience with Allpro Fence was terrible, starting with communication with no returned calls. We put a down payment down (half) in September/ October of 22 and was then told by Gary that he would try to have it started before the end of the year, but wasn’t sure since they were behind schedule (which was fine and understandable considering the weather). Then, we were told in January that they were still behind and would be out the second week of February. We didn’t hear anything in February, March or April. I left them multiple messages and didn’t hear back. Finally, in the middle of the May we heard from Gary and he said they would be out in a few weeks. Then, I was told they would be out on a Monday, so I took off work to make sure someone was home. They never showed up and when I called them around 1pm I got no answer and left a message. I didn’t hear back and called them again at 6pm and they said they were “stuck in traffic.” They then showed up the next day to start and then was told they didn’t have the gates for the fences.... We had to wait another week and a half since they didn’t order the gates correctly the first time! Once the gates were “completed” the gate installed between our detached garage and house is clearly crooked and drags the ground when opening. It’s obvious the post isn’t strong enough to support the weight of the gate. There is big gap between the garage and the gate, which we are now concerned our dogs could get out of. We wanted to be able to have access to our yard from the front yard and be able to get out from the backyard. Which apparently is asking for something that Gary has never heard of. Should be a pretty simple ask? Both gates only have ways to get out from the backyard, but not in from the front yard. I asked Gary if he could put on a latch on the gates to allow us to open the gates both ways and be able to lock it from inside if needed. He said yes, he could do that, and would stop by to do so and collect the final payment. He then came out and took the latch off of inside of the gate and filled the holes with screws. Then put the latch on the front of the gate only. Obviously, this was not the the conversation we had. At this point my wife was home and went out to ask questions about the latches and she clearly had enough. After waiting patiently for 8 months and now being left with an incomplete job, she tried to express her concerns. When she tried to discuss the issues with him he wouldnt let her talk at all, was extremely rude, and continued to talk over her. Then he just left and didn’t finish anything. We ended up discussing the issues again and it appeared we were in agreement. Gary agreed the gate wasn’t supported enough and we agreed the best way to fix it would be to attached the post to the house. However, he said he “can’t do that due to the city of Harrison coding.” He agreed to go to them and ask permission to do so, if he was unable to get permission to attach it to the house he would put concrete in the post to help with support. He left and said he would be back to finish the job and that he had no other jobs to get to. About 2.5 hours later I received a text stating that he was informed by the city that there was no permit pulled for the job. He also stated that he couldn’t do any further work the job is complete. Then demanded payment and threatened collections and repossession of the fences. After waiting 8 months for the fence patiently, they immediately threatened collections and repossession of the fence again after 3 days of the job supposedly being finished. They used the permit as a way out of finishing the job correctly. Never once was a permit mentioned to me before starting the job, I assumed he would of pulled it or asked me to get it before even starting the job. It is listed in the contract that it is my responsibility, which I should of seen. I then asked to talk with another owner to work something out after Gary refused to talk to me or finish the job. I spoke with Julie and expressed by concerns that now I have to spend more money to fix it myself or hire someone else make the job right. I made a offer minus my expenses and was denied. She said the job is done and completed correctly without even seeing it. She also again demanded the final payment or repossession of the fence. She even had the audacity to ask me if the reason we are complaining is do to a money issue. I replied no, “it’s because this is a terrible job, would want a crooked fence” In the conversation with Julie I said I will be making a complaint and she replied she has already contacted the BBB to get ahead of it. I asked if the job was done correctly then why would you need to do that? This company is horrible, you pay for what you get in the end. I honestly feel like they forgot about the job and then tried to rush through it (How do you not have the gates for a fence a job?). As you can see in past BBB complaints they always blame the customer being hostile. Seems to be the same issues in every complaint. They cover themselves very well in the contract, Think twice before using this company. We ended up just wanting this nightmare over and made the final payment.

This company unfortunately lacks customer service skills. They set a date and time to arrive in the morning and then never showed up and never called to explain why they were a not show all day. Emails were finally exchanged stating that they were without power and the owner was out of cell service so no one could reply to our calls. When asked for our deposit back and questioned as to why no one showed we as the customer were called hostile and negative and they company did not want to deal with that. Unfortunate as the product they build looks wonderful. Just did not work out so well for us. We did however receive our deposit back.

All Pro Fence was hired to install a fence on 2/23/17. They were a no-call, no-show until we reached out to them at 10:14 am. They returned the call stating they would be there at 11:45am. At 11:45 Gary shows up talking about how he was $@#$ing and puking all night. We then went over the job and our desires to be sure we were on the same page. We came back to visit the job site about an hour later to discover Gary was gone and his helper was there. The original fence they were asked to remove was not fully removed. It was simply cut off below grade. We raised concerns at this time as a $350 tear out fee for the removal of an old fence 25 feet long was included in the contract. After reaching a verbal argument regarding actually removing the fence posts from the ground, Gary left the job site for the day. Gary left a mess in our yard as well as our neighbors' yard. We phoned the office about the mess and were told he would return the following morning to finish the job. The following morning at 9 am we were evaluating the job and found several of the posts to be loose. We reached out to ask if this was OK. At that time Gary replied that he would not be back until Monday. They intended to leave our yard and our neighbors' yard a mess and unsecured over the weekend. We again expressed concerns with what was now becoming several issues. They became harassing and threatening at this point. They attempted to force us to sign a contract and refused to continue the job until we did. They began accusing us of damaging the posts by moving them, even though they said they were going to be working on the posts within the hour. We finally agreed to sign their contract after making some edits and they returned to do the job on Monday, 2/27/27. As soon as they were done working they began harassing us for payment stating that the money was due upon completion. We had not even had time to review the work. Several more harassing emails and phone calls later they finally agreed to give us some time to review the work. With us working and the bad weather (heavy rain for several days, tornadoes in the area) we had we did not have a chance to review the work until Friday, 3/3/17. On Thursday, 3/2/17, they began threatening to have their attorney come after us and pursue legal action. We were threatened that all emails would be used against us in court. To this we responded with 6 concerns that we still had with the installation and asked them fix those 6 items. Alternatively we stated that we would take care of it for a price reduction. We provided them with our attorney's contact information and told them that should they wish to pursue legal action against us they should have their attorney contact our attorney. These people emailed our attorney directly at the same time that they came back out to finish the work! They were so brash as to tell our attorney that we could arrange for final payment through him. Through this entire process we were disrespected, harassed, argued with, threatened, and still left fighting just to get the job completed in a satisfactory manner. We feel that this type of treatment has no place in consumer business. We only hope that they drastically change their actions or choose another line of work; not to mention their craftsmanship was sub-par. FYI - We paid them within five minutes of actually completing the job.
