Made a request through Angie’s List and also called the next day. Scott called me back and our conversation was pleasant. Said he would email me my options and he could install in time for my child’s bday. After not receiving an email I sent a message. No response. Called again and left message, no response. Very disappointed with his customer service. I would not trust him to follow through on his word now.

Scott and his team did a wonderful job installing our swing set. They were very responsive from the very first contact to the time the installation was completed a week later. They handled everything, the delivery, leveling and installation of the playset we wanted at a reasonable price, which was so convenient for us. On the day of installation, they were done in under 4 hours, which allowed our kids to play with their new set the whole afternoon! I truly appreciate the amazing, honest and straightforward service we received and would recommend The Swingset guy to anyone looking to install or move their swingset.

We gave our swingset to a family that my wife works with but neither of us had the means to move the swingset. The other family contracted with the Swingset Guy to deliver the swingset from our house to theirs. I was impressed. We left to go run some errands and the swingset was still in the backyard. When we returned about an hour later, it was gone. It must have been a simple process for them to dismantle it, load it onto a truck, and deliver it. The receipients had a fence around their backyard but this wasn't a big obstacle. The guys had it set up quickly and the the kids could not be happier.

Unfortunately we had a very bad experience with Scott. I contacted him nearly 30 days prior to installation as this was a birthday present for our daughter. He was very responsive early on. Much to my surprise he contacted me less than a week before the installation date with news of a shipping delay. We had some miscommunication via email, and he never returned my calls. He made a unilateral decision to ‘end our relationship’ 3 days before the installation, and left us scrambling for Plan B. He was apologetic, but the damage was already done. He had several excuses for his situation, but the fact of the matter is he was unable to deliver and failed on his end of the deal.

We hired Scott after reading about his service in the Angie's List magazine - he's an award winner for a reason. Let alone the fact that he and his crew moved a playset from one side of Carmel to the other in one morning, without breaking anything, including lifting it OVER a chainlink fence. Just as important to me, he communicated well via email, showed up when he said he would show up, even power washed the set for an additional $95 the next weekend. I almost wish I had another swing set to move just so I could watch him do it again, it was awesome.

Called him for a quote. He said he had to get back to me after he looked up the specifics of the play set model and I never heard from him again.

Overall, it was a great experience, well worth the money.

Scott came out to the house provided a detailed estimate, let me know how the process would work for providing service, then he communicated every step of the way. The services were provided over a 2 day period which spanned a couple of months. He did not require any up front money. The bill was presented when all work was completed. I would highly recommend Scott and the Swing Set Guy.

Extremely professional! I recommend them highly! The cost was given up front and they arrived right when he told me they would. They worked hard and had the set up and usable within a couple of hours.

He arrived on time with three helpers and had the set put together in 8-9 hours. It was a very complex set and I'm not sure we ever could have assembled it without them. They were professional, friendly, experienced, and hard working. I would recommend them to anyone and would use them again in the future myself!

Mr. Ice returned our calls promptly and set up a time to put up the playset. Although the weather was terrible on the scheduled day, he and his crew arrived on time and worked very hard to install the playset. We are very happy with the work, and would recommend them highly. Also, they were all very nice people to work with.

Scott and his crew did a great job. Scott was extremely professional, returned calls promptly, showed up at assigned times, explained exactly what he would do, and performed quality work. He even asked permission from the next-door neighbors to drive his pickup and trailer through their backyard so he could haul the swingset to our yard. So did we, but I was impressed that he also thought to stop and ask.

Scott was great! He returned my call quickly and was punctual. He was also very flexible with his availability, very familiar with the product, and he did a great job building the set.

Scott is an excellent Contractor, very personable and detailed with his work. He walked us thru the process and guided us in every way. He even made suggestions of how to complete the play area and with what type of mulch to use. He was on time, extremely efficient, kept the job site area clean from all debris and made the entire process easy for us. He provided suggestions of what type of product to purchase, where to look at different types of swing sets and provided his opinion of what was the most sturdy equipment to buy.

I would use him again if I bought another swing set.

Scott Ice responded extremely quickly to my call and was extensively knowledgeable about the different types of sets that are out there for sale. He seems to have put together all types and quickly answered my questions. We have not yet had the playset installed, but are planning to in mid-June. We will definitely have him do the work!

SCOTT WAS ON TIME, COMMUNICATED WELL WITH US AND WENT OUT OF HIS WAY TO DO A GOOD JOB. HE WAS REASONABLY PRICED AND STUCK WITH BUILDING THE SWINGSET, THOUGH THERE WERE PROBLEMS(OUR FAULT), GETTING IT DONE IN ONE DAY. THE MEN WERE PUNCTUAL, CONSIDERATE AND DID A QUALITY JOB. THEY ALSO, PROBLEM SOLVED, WHEN NECESSARY.
