It turned out beautifully. They did a nice job and they were quick. They also cleaned up well.

They did really good work with the roof. They were also professional.

It took 6 weeks to get the roofers to come to my home during which time there were ongoing rain storms, causing more damage to the interior of the garage. The roof is a good roof, interlocking and can withstand winds to 110 MPH. The installers did not seal one of the vents properly, causing a new leak and stain on the inside of my home. After taking so long to get the roof on to begin with, I opted to seal and paint this myself so it would get done. Sherriff-Goslin subcontracted the siding and gutters...herein lies the problem. The siding people did not do what they were instructed to do (which ended up to my benefit, but cost me time and frustration), and the gutters leaked at the front door, making it difficult to enter my home for several weeks without getting soaked when it was raining. They did fix it, but not when I was told. The facia was also damaged during the storm and the subs told me to 'fix it they would have to remove the entire system at my cost and reinstall it." They pulled it back into the track and did nothing more to secure it. As I type, the wind has pulled it loose again and it is flapping in the wind. If I used Sherriff-Goslin again, I would make them be MUCH more specific about who is going to do the work, get exact dates (I signed the contract with 'ASAP' on the 'when' line....don't EVER do that!) UPDATE; Two more leaks have developed on my 'new' roof. Heck, the old roof had shingles off and didn't leak!! I would NOT recommend using the Lafayette, IN Sherriff-Goslin Roofing Company to anyone. The only one who seems to know what he's doing is the guy who is fixing all the mistakes the original crew made. I'M NOT A HAPPY CAMPER.















1/1/12 Further update: Another leak had developed and Sherriff-Goslin Co neglected to mention in their response on December 19 that they caused damage to the electric exhaust fan on my roof, causing one of the main leaks as well as destroying the motor in the fan. They have agreed to replace the motor. Again....more of MY time taken to fix THEIR errors. The gutter at my front door is still a problem. I'm just waiting for a real snowfall to see what happens next.















1/4/12 FURTHER UPDATE: Upon review of my insurance sheets, Sherriff-Goslin roofing was, in fact paid to fix the facia on my home and has not done so. It is noted in two places, page 2 and page 5, specifically listing soffit and facia with the gutters. They were paid in full and did not complete the work.















1/15/2012.......SIX MONTHS AFTER BEING CONTRACTED... "repairs" to most of the damaged caused by Sherriff-Goslin roofing have been completed EXCEPT for the vent fan on the roof. My craft room continues to be a mess (I'm not going to put it all back in the closet as it was....it took an hour to pull it all out) and the electricians that were 'sub-contracted' have failed to schedule a return visit. Josh, the repair man for Sherriff-Goslin is the only one I've dealt with who seems to know what he's doing. Huge black spot on drywall in garage has not been sealed/painted/repaired and I was told 'they don't do drywall' even though their negligence (no tarp/cover on roof while I waited for their crew) caused the damage.















3/9/12.....ANOTHER UPDATE.....ANOTHER LEAK AND A PIECE OF SIDING HAS FALLEN OFF THE GARAGE. This time they brought a 'salesman' out to look at what was going on and he told the other owner of the home the roof was installed improperly. They still haven't fixed the siding as they 'have to find the guy who did it and find out what color it is...' DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

4/21/2014 WE CONTINUE TO HAVE PROBLEMS WITH THE SIDING FALLING OFF. APPOINTMENT WAS SET LAST WEEK, NO ONE SHOWED. "ADAM" APOLOGIZED AND SAID HE'D SEND SOMEONE TODAY.....4:15, NO ONE HERE, BUT AFTER ANOTHER PHONE CALL SAID THEY'D SEND SOMEONE OVER. WE'LL SEE.

9/3/214 ROOF CONTINUES TO LEAK IN THE HOUSE......MORE DAMAGE TO MY CEILING. CALLED YESTERDAY AND WAS TOLD I'D GET A RETURN CALL SAME DAY. NO RESPONSE. CALLED TODAY AND WAS TOLD 'THEY ARE ALL IN A METTING IN GRAND RAPIDS AND THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK TO'. CALLED THE CORPORATE NUMBER AT 800-947-7663 AND WAS TOLD THE "LAST TWO MANAGERS THEY HAD IN LAFAYETTE WEREN'T ANY GOOD, SORRY. WE'LL GET THE VP OF QUALITY CONTROL BUT HE'S IN A MEETING ALL DAY AND PROBABLY WON'T CALL UNTIL TOMORROW"....MEANWHILE MY ROOF IS STILL LEAKING WITH MORE DAMAGE TO THE INSIDE OF MY HOUSE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.....

9/4/14...Craig and Adam came at 9:30 AM as promised to check the roof after a call to corporate. They say it isn't the roof, but the chimney, which is brick, and needs repaired/replaced. They offered to get someone to call me and checked the rest of the roof, which is fine. FINALLY...someone appears to know what they are doing.
