absolutely a joke of a service. 100% do NOT recommend. They will send you a bill for thousands, and they will not clean anything that is needed. This company blatantly lied to my insurance company after I filed a claim because they provided a very non-standard service. Find someone else to clean your home. These folks will be your biggest headache!

Everything in my home that me and my husband have worked for for 45 years is literally tore up. We had a fire and the insurance company is the one that hired them. They claimed they could restore and do everything that was needed to be done in my home. I've got furniture that I bought 44 years in Italy and they literally ripped it apart. I've had a heart attach over this. I've been in the hospital with a heart attack. I just want to make sure that report stays on Angie's List so no one else hires them.
Description of Work: They came in and tore my house all to pieces.

They arrived and covered the sky lights with a tarp and put the dryers and dehumidifier in place. They kept asking if it was an insurance covered job and at that time we thought we would be filing it with our home owners. I had to miss work the next day because someone had to be home to let them check the dryness and the guy was only here 5 minutes. Again I was asked if it was an insurance job. I scheduled for them to call my dad the next day to meet him at the house and they didn't call him until late in the afternoon and I had told them he would only be available in the morning. The third day they came out and removed all the equipment and I asked when someone would be out to look at the damages and give us an estimate. I waited over a week and called them back asking again when someone would be out to assess the damages so we could get it fixed. Finally a gentleman came out and told me that it would not be covered by our insurance because we had not done roof maintenance. No one I talked to knew what that even meant. He told me that fixing the drywall on the ceiling and fixing the skylights would run $3,000-$4,000 not including the drying that had already been done. I told him I would contact someone else and had a roofer come out. He fixed both areas where they had screwed the tarp into my roof ruining 2 bundles of shingles and found out that the leak was from the prior roofer not doing it correctly. The roofer who fixed it said that the way they had screwed the tarp on could have caused us more water damage.The roofer only charged me $225 and he also did two other things to my roof. I had the ceiling repaired and repainted for $175 and then was sent a bill for over $1,000 from Servicemaster Clean. Hard to believe that I had it all repaired for less than half of their bill.They billed me for the extra day they didn't show up and I felt we were way over billed. I had numerous calls to them but no resolution in the matter. I just want people to know if you plan on paying out of your pocket go else where. After this incident I looked and they are not even on the Better Business Bureau. I also informed my insurance company not to use them. Description of Work: We had a leak around our sky lights and called them after recommendation from our insurance company. They came in and used dryers and a dehumidifier to dry the ceiling and put a tarp over our sky lights.

It is the worse that I could think off. This Service Master never ever WORKED A SATURDAY OR SUNDAY out of this 7.5 months. They have had most of the time only one MAN working four or five day a week if I am lucky. The workmanship and the quailty of this company is in my view is a FFFFFFFF I wish you could see my woodwork that they put up. A blind man would not except this. The crown molding is about 1/4 inche from touching the other part of the wood. It is a holiday and I have nothing to cook with. All of blinds on the 1st floor and 2nd floor is total runed because they soak the wood blinds in what ever and they bowel and they hung them up with part missing and without washing the smoke and dusty glasses. I called Jeff Rogers because his man said that Rogers told him to hang them anyway. This is the kind of man this Rogers is. I could go on and on over this mess and there is many, many other things that I could tell, BUT I BELIEVED YOU HAVE THE FULL PICTURE OF THIS SERVICE MASTER OUT OF LAFAYETTE, IN AND HE ALSO HAS ANTHER ONE OUT OF SOUTH BEND INDIANA. I called Rogers six time to day this is Thursday the 24th 2012 and Roger will not take my phone call. i BEGGED HIM TO BRING OUR FURNITURE BACK TO US. The $170,000 I did not pay, this was paid by the Insurance Company. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY ( SERVICE MASTER JEFF ROGERS)
Description of Work: The Insurance Company called out this Jeff Rogers Service Master clean. I was never told that this company was from Lafayetter IN, I live in Carmel, IN this is two hours away. I found out two mos later when I question why they were coming to work at 10 to 10:30am and leaving at 2pm any day that they were at our home. I had fire damage in one room only and the rest was just water damage. Jeff Rogers told me and my insurance adjustor Chris Taylor that he would have us back in our home within 45 to 60 days being the longest. Because there was not that much damage except for water. The fire was contain to one room. There were as much as four weeks that no one did any work on our home. I would call the adjustor and I would call Jeff Rogers and he would say well they should be there. When I went over to the house to see if anyone was working, All of our furniture was gone. I ask where it was and I was told by the worker that they had move it to a warehouse so that it could be professaly clean. And that they would store the furniture and all our contents until we could move back into our home. It has now been 7 MONTHS AND TWO WEEKS. And Jeff Roger owner of Service Master clean has stollen our furniture and all our belonging and we cannot get him to return them to us. He was to pay fior us to rental house until the house was done and the check bounce and Jeff Rogers told us that if we want to stay at that house that we would have to pay for it our sefl. We was force to move back in one room in our 4000 sf foot home. My husband and I are over 60 yrs old and I am not in good health, we are sleeping on a couch and we are raising a 16 yr old. This is bad. I have been told that if I want our personal things back that I will make Wells Fargo Bank send him the funds that they are holding. Service Master has had three draws and the last draw is to be the 100% work done. I still have not all the kitchen cabinets, Toilet not in, this company has done the worse work that I have even seen. A 6 yr old could have done better. The fire that damage the patio, Jeff had his man to go get the cheapes boards and they put them down it is like my boards dark brown and they put in light beige. It is a big eye sore to anyone that see them. They do not repect anyone property, All my Chandilers they have mess them all up. I even found the crystels out in my drive way. All Jeff said it ok I will buy you another one. I have put out in labor and money around 15,000 and not one word about paying me. My husband & I have work around 280 to 300 hours our self. If we had not done the stairway our self it would not have gotten done and done right. I could go on and on here but I am sure that if you read this you will not to ever HIRE them. BBB has them rated a big ( F ). check it out. We have had things stolen out of our garge my husband nailers. In my family room I had two jars of money they come up missing also. I call Jeff Rogers I do not know how many times to let him know that his people was leaving our doors unlock. Rogers said I will tell them. I also told Rogers about two months ago about the things that are missing. I am sure that you get the picture on this hold matter. I have went to the Mother Company and they do not care. We feel that we are being BLACKMAIL in order for Rogers to get the funds or we do not get our FURNITURE back. BLACKMAIL is a crime yet Rogers does not care. Yet I do not hold the funds. I cannot make Wells Fargo send the money.

They came when they said they would be here. Very kind and courteous. They knew what they were doing and were very professional. They seemed patient with their work and made sure they did the work right the 1st time. Wanted to make sure they took their time to prevent molding that would occur if it wasn't dried out properly. I would recommend them!
