Crew arrived on time was respectful of our property and cleaned up each evening. Job was completed in time frame promised. They have been around for an long and would highly recommend them to everyone.

In the end, a very good job but it took a very long time. Many delays and they did not come out when promised. Mostly left a clean work site with some exceptions. They were willing to install a metal roof for a reasonable price whereas some competitors were not.

My husband and I were doing an interior remodel of a wood stove surround and found an active leak behind our tear down that was leaking in under the insulation. Our first and only thought was that we had a roof leak on a 3 year old roof (we have only owned the house 11 months). Then we noticed water damage in a closet as well.. We called Loy-Quinn and Mr. Quinn came out to take a look & give us a FREE estimate. He came out and told us there is NOTHING wrong with our roof. Our chimney needs tuck pointed and that is where the water is coming from. He said we could, for added security around our chimney after we have it repaired, install a chimney cricket and that they would replace the flashing around the chimney at the same time and it would help ward off possible future problems but we didn't HAVE to do it. We could have been thousands deep into this if this company were not honest. We will be having Loy-Quinn install the cricket after we fix our chimney issue. We couldn't have asked for a better experience

Loy-Quinn kept my mothers roof from caving in. They truly saved the day!! The roof was leaking terribly and had actually rotted out most of the supporting boards and rafters. We called Loy-Quinn in late October and although they were booked and working against frigid temperatures, they did what it took to get the job done before the snow arrived. In their opinion with the condition of the roof it probably would have collapsed under a heavy snow. THE WORK THEY PERFORMED AND CUSTOMER SERVICE THEY PROVIDED WAS EXCEPTIONAL !!!!! They returned all phone calls and showed up exactly when expected. They also took their time with my mother, answering her questions and explaining the process. I am truly grateful for this company. The entire experience was exceptional from the initial call to the follow up email and personal phone call from the owner to make sure we were happy with the repair. On average they were a little higher than the other estimates I received however, I am so glad I decided to go with them. It was worth EVERY penny and I will absolutely use them again. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !!!

Worked quickly under difficult conditions and cleaned up after.

It went very well. Mr. Quinn, although did not do the work, his crew was diligent and finished the work in a timely manner. He worked with another one of our subcontractors without a problem. I was delighted. He followed up with the quality, invoiced us in a reasonable but not immediate fashion and even sent us a gift card with a thank you note. The work is beautiful, the crew cleaned up each day. We have had him return to do another small job and I have recommended him to several other friends.

They are very knowledgeable, professional, and very good company. Their estimate was in the range in comparison to others. They emphasize top quality kind of materials. They are very expensive.

Loy-Quinn cleaned out my gutters. I wasn't there when he provided the service, but he did clean them out. I just got a bill afterwards. I will use him for this service again.

Removed all of old shingles and roof vents. Installed new ridge vent. Installed new shingles, new vinyl siding on fireplace chimney walls and top cover.

Fantastic crew. Punctual and very hard-working. Worksite always cleaned up at the end of the work day. Estimate of repairs reasonable. Very professional organization.

The tearoff crew were quick and placed all old material in a truck that they had backed up into our drive. They placed full size sheets of plywood between the truck and the house to avoid any potential damage to the house. They went around the house afterwards with a rolling magenet to make sure there were not any staples from the old roof in the yard. The install crew were also quick, initially they thought the job would take two days but as the day went on they thought they would be able to finish in one day. They talked with their supervisor and got the okay to stay and finish the job. So, a complete tear off of the old roofing and install of new roofing in one day. This company provides a multi-year labor installation warranty as well.

I thought they were very professional. They gave me options. Their price was good compared to other estimates. They did a good job and cleaned up after themselves. Removed old and installed new all in one day.

The price seemed comparable. We got another quote that was pretty similar. It certainly seemed expensive but we wanted to use a quality company and we felt that was what we were going to pay. We might use them again.

They removed all the old shingles and put the new roof on. It only took approximately two days. They were extremely careful not to damage the landcaping surrounding the house when they removed the old shingles. Several months later and still no problems!

It went great. They are dependable and likable. They cleaned up everything and kept us informed with everything they were doing.

Gary was exquisite in his service. We looked into a faux slate product initially, and he went to a distributor in Indy to get us samples. We had them in hand 24 hours later! In the end, we found out there were other major projects we had to tackle in the home and decided not to make the investment of faux slate at this time - but Gary was just a dream to work with! On installation day, a team came and took the roof by storm. They had the whole project almost done in just one day, cleaned up and everything. A few folks came back the next day to do some caulking and securing near the membrane roof. Our neighbors were gone and were just amazed when they came back - it was like the new roof had always been there! Loy-Quinn was PERFECT to work with, speedy, reasonably priced, good quality work and product, and VERY tidy. My very particular husband searched the yard for something, anything left behind and he found one, ONE, 2"x2" piece of shingle behind and under a bush. We would recommend them from the roof tops if we could - pun intended. Thank you, Gary and the Loy-Quinn team! We aren't worried about our home investment with all this snow this December thanks to you!

After numerous attempts to repair the leak by caulking (mainly) over several weeks, Loy Quinn gave up, sent us a letter saying that they couldn't fix it, and that was that. We weren't charged (of course). No referral or other course of action was suggested but would have been appreciated. We were left hanging, with a house to sell and an impending move. We hired another roofer who completed the job promptly. The new roofer was careful to investigate the cause and location of the leak, removed some shingles, and repaired it successfully on the first attempt and for an amount that was less than the original Loy Quinn estimate. What was most disappointing was that Loy Quinn simply wrote us a terse letter saying (essentially), "We quit." Very disappointed with the professionalism on this job.

He was very professional and had a reasonable rate. I would rate him highly. We haven’t used him yet because we haven’t made a decision. We may possibly use him.

They had to place ground coverings down to collect any lead based paint that might fall off of the old siding and cause an environmental problem. Each day they picked up all of the loose debris and removed it from the site. They either took their tools or stored them in our garage every night so that they were out of the way and no one could steal them. If they encountered any situation that required making a choice one way or another, they always would ask us which we would prefer. Whenever they would find something that should be repaired or replaced, they always showed us where it was and how they were going to fix it. When they found any area of wood that needed to be repaired or replaced, they immediately made the repairs and this was not added on to the original estimate for the job. An example was that several of the window sills had rotted out and they completely repaired them before adding the necessary 3/4 inch extension caused by the installation of the installation board. They could very easily just cover these rotted areas up and we would never have known that they were even there. All of the corners and joints are expertly joined and sealed. They even cut and beveled the siding on the car port support posts where they attached to the concrete supports. They properly installed the outside wall ventilation vents so that the attic was now getting the required ventilation. The existing ones had not been correctly installed and were only window dressing. They took special care to install new water-tight telephone boxes on two of the exposed telephone connection ports. The new insulation board and siding was either slipped behind or boxed around the electrical meter and other electrical connections that were permanently attached to the house. To look at the finished product, you would think that the electrical service had been added after the house had been completely sided. The house and attached car port and storage shed are completely sealed with chalking to make sure that water will not get between the siding and the underlying wood siding of the original buildings. We are extremely pleased with their work and friendliness to us while working on this project.

The estimate was done on a Saturday, which was great for our work schedule. Gary was punctual and informative. Within two weeks, as promised, the roofers showed up. They had trouble with our tear-off due to the age of our house and the roof; however, they kept at it and did a fantastic job. The new sheeting and shingles went on very quickly. The roofers were professional and hard-working, staying until 10:00 two evenings. When the job was done, they cleaned up everything -- even going through our yard with a magnet to get any stray nails. The final price was a little less than the estimate because we didn't need new sheeting all over. The only part they got wrong was the length of time it would take to do the job, but that was because our roof was in such bad shape that it took them extra time to tear it off. Loy-Quinn is a fair, honest company that we would recommend to anyone.

They did a fantastic job putting on a new roof. They provide professional first-class service from my initial call; they were very responsive and provided quick turnaround on the quote and the actual work. Their pricing was best of three quotes I received for the work and their warranty couldn't be beat. Overall I'd recommend and use them again.
