Jim was extremely professional. He was very prompt in responding and did an outstanding job. It was very accommodating for our needs and made sure that the work was don on time. I will hire him for all electric needs in my house in future.

We had some difficulty getting together with our busy schedules but once Jim came over and gave us an estimate, he was prompt to get the work done. He made suggestions to help us save money and was $500 cheaper than the other estimate we received. His work was a very good quality. Would hire him again.

Jim is a retired professional electrician. We have used Jim's services for this job but also in the past for installing all wiring for dozens of ceiling can lights and many new outlets in a basement remodel. He also installed our entire electrical box for the individual who sold the house to us, during the process of addressing the home inspection. So we have extensive experience with Jim. All the work has been performed at the highest standards. Jim will not generally give you a committed estimate ahead of time. Instead, he will work at a steady clip until the job is done, with extremely high professional standards, and charge you a reasonable rate for the time spent. Not cheap, but for the quality of work it is hard to beat. He will take time to explain options, generate ideas for dealing with any other issues you face, and make suggestions. He has even gone out of his way to get and show us sample parts for options we were considering that were outside the scope of his paid job, just to help us.

Wiring had to be rerouted, causing more work than was expected, but he just went about his business doing what had to be done.

Jim provided electrical service and hung a very complex chandelier. He seemed to be well acquainted with exactly how this should be done and the end result was excellent.

The project was performed very well. Mr. Gilbert determined the proper supplies needed for the job, purchased them locally and installed them.

Jim really did an outstanding job at a great price. It is clear that he takes pride in his worksmanship. I had a house that I was replacing all knob and tube wiring with completely new electrical. I pulled all the wire, but wanted a licensed pro to install the service meter and 200 amp service box. Jim did a great job. HIs wiring was neat and well labelled. His price was exceedingly fair. He was on vacation when I called him and there was about a week delay after his return before he could start. So you might need a little patience. But I highly recommend him and will use him again.

Jim was very friendly and also professional. He came over the first time to review the issues that I was having, then we scheduled the next appointment for the actual work to proceed. He always showed me what he was doing, and I learned a lot about the electricity in my house. His rates are very reasonable, and he was always punctual.
