Description of Work: Drain Rooted

Description of Work: The work that was being done was very basic plumbing that required very little knowledge.

Description of Work: The water line from the street to my house sprung a leak. I called Ike's based on a relative's suggestion. Mark and Ray showed up to assess the situation and were helpful in identifying the potential issue. They scheduled a time to come back the next day and give their final estimated cost. They were 1.5 hours late arriving the next day with no phone call to let me know when to expect them. Once they did arrive, they did nothing but reaffirm their initial assessment of the problem (waste of my time). They then said they had to go back to the office and get back with me about an estimate. They didn't call back until about 3 hours later and then said they couldn't start the work until a week later due to the holidays (which was understandable). On the day the work was scheduled to begin, it was raining. I was expecting them to delay their work until conditions got better but I never received a phone call that morning to let me know that they would be late or that they wouldn't be starting the work that day. I had to call their office myself and speak with their receptionist in order to find out when they were planning on re-scheduling. The next day, conditions were better and they were scheduled to come in the morning (between 9:30am and 10:00am). They arrived around 9:30am and started the work but then after about 25 mins the two gentlemen working left without saying anything to me. They didn't come back until about 2 hours later to resume the job. They pointing out exactly what had caused the leak and explained how things like this happen (which was helpful). However, during my conversation with the worker, he took his muddy gloves off and threw them into the mud puddle in my yard and then covered them up with mud using his foot. I had another issue inside of my house with the main line leaking and asked them to check it out when they were done in the front yard. They said they were breaking for lunch and wanted to clean their boots before coming inside the house but they would be right back to take a look at it. After 4 hours, I finally had to call the office and ask them to come back. The workers (different from the 2 that worked on the yard) showed up and seemed very short and irritated that they had to make another visit to my house. They then proceeded to charge me 1/2 the cost of a normal service charge to come inside and tighten some connections. The workers were beyond unprofessional and the office staff was not helpful in anyway. I was able to get the 1/2 of a service call charge taken off my bill, but only after I explained what happened. I will never use Ike's again and have been telling my friends and family to stay away from them.
