We got a referral from a heating & cooling service provider and called Rick shortly after 10 a.m. He said he would be here at 11 a.m. and arrived shortly before 11. He apologized for not being here sooner, but said that he had been in a crawl space and had been wet and not in presentable condition, so he went home to change before coming. He covered his shoes with paper booties to protect the floors, he covered the kitchen floor with a tarp and then newspapers, and covered the cabinets with newspaper to protect them. He removed everything from under the kitchen sink, and then used about 47' of a 50' snake before reaching the clog--he said that the clog had likely been building for decades. He cleaned out the clog, then carefully wrapped up all of his newspapers and placed them in garbage bags he had brought with him, sprayed the cabinet under the sink with cleaner, and cleaned the sink and area surrounding it, wiping them clean. He was polite, professional, and took great pride in doing a good job. It was such a good experience that we made sure to put his contact information in our phones, so that we can reach him when the need arises--I would highly recommend Rick and his work!

I have two upstairs apartments that were having trouble draining. I had done a replacement of some pipes a couple of weeks earlier but I was still getting reports of a drain problem. I called Rick Vice to come out and overall my experience was very good. Rick was very professional and returned my call promptly. He was very clear about the times that he had available and the lead time that he had. He showed up exactly when he said he would and he and my caretaker spent quite a bit of time running water to try to seek out the problem. They were unable to find any kind of drain backup. While he was there Rick fixed a quick leak under the sink but since we didn't find the drain backup he didn't charge me. I was pleased in all respects and they seemed like a very professional outfit that is going to do the right thing for the customer. I highly recommend them.

Rick was exceptional. He was responsive to our needs and he explained everything in detail as he worked. We talked throuout the process and when he was done, I felt like I not only had a nice clear sewer line, but a new freind as well. Rick cleaned up the work site, and the only sign that he had been there was that our sewer was now draining properly. Rick is very professional and a great guy. I will definately call Rick in the future when I have drainage problems or needs.

Drain Works was enthusiastically recommended by a friend who was a facilities manager at a small student-centered nonprofit organization near the college campus. My friend was very pleased with Rick's service. I have to agree. Rick is friendly, energetic and explains everything he's doing. He didn't leave a mess either.
