 + -1 moreI was visiting Indiana over the holidays when my computer failed to function properly. I called him and he was able to fit my computer repair into his schedule. After calling him, I dropped my computer off that very day and gave him a few days to evaluate all of my computer systems. He fixed my desktop and made some recommendations that would help prevent future problems and make using my computer easier. I appreciate the fact that Francois was able to help me with little notice. His pricing was very fair and better than any competitor.
Description of Work: Fixed my desktop computer by re-installing software and identifying reason why my computer had lost many of its software.

Description of Work: I called to describe the problems I had with our computer. He seemed quite knowledgebale and described the possible causes and listed the the cost ranges depending on the actual problem. He suggested I condiser whether i wished to repair or replace. I was impressed with this since Dior apparently does not sell computers. I intended to take the computer to Dior for repair but discovered that it was still covered by warranty. So I took it back to the seller for repair.

 + -1 moreHe does a great job with computers. He came to my house and picked up the computer. He is very customer service oriented. He is really good. He did some other work a month ago. He had to fix my computer because I got somebody on line that screwed up my computer. I had a type of virus and he took it away. He also cleared off all the stuff on an old laptop. I will definitely continue to use them.
Description of Work: I am using Dior Computer Repair because I had a major computer problem. He is fixing it right now.

 + -1 moreComputer stopped working on a Friday. Called on Saturday and he made a special trip to his business to meet me so I could drop off the computer. Fixed the computer over the weekend and we picked it up the following Tuesday. He went out of his way to meet me and get my computer up and running again quickly.
Description of Work: Installed new power source. Upgraded memory. Cleaned up disc for unused programs, etc.

 + -1 moreHe is very good; I have used him for 3 or 4 years. When you call him he calls you back; he did a great job. He is friendly and has good customer service; he is a good person. All the times he has worked on my computer I have had no problems with it. He comes to your home or you can take your computer to his shop for service.

 + -1 moreI was very leary about sending my computer off for an extended period of time and very nervous about trying to retrieve all my sentimental data before my hard drive completely went out. I am very happy with my service, quality of the job, speed of the job, everything. My computer is now working great, faster than ever, and he didn't make me feel weird for choosing to fix an old, but otherwise working, computer. I have used big, well-known stores in the past and was charged quite a bit, I thought for all he did he was very reasonable, as $100 of my costs were the hard drive itself. I would highly recommend using him again and supporting his small, local home business. I have no complaints. The only feedback I might give is that parking is a bit confusing, because the house is near a bus line and just before that there are several no parking signs. But that is minor, I just parked on the street and turned my flashers on.
Description of Work: I was having computer problems with an older computer. I had a suspicion that the hard drive was going out & was very worried about losing my information, as I was getting numerous error messages, slow speeds, and just weird computer behavior. The technician returned all of my messages promptly, did a GREAT job of explaining what the process & timetable would be to try to diagnose the issue, and was right on this timetable. I did take my computer to his shop (which is home based) ,but I know he does advertise to do home visits as well. He arranged to meet me on a Saturday at his shop with only 30 minutes notice from his return phone call. He was able to explain what the problem was & give me appropriate options to fix the issue that were reasonable, and didn't try to sway me one way or the other for his benefit. Once I made the decision (I needed a new hard drive) and gave me the go ahead, he called me within another day to let me know the one he'd recommended wasn't going to work, & then gave me options on what he'd need to special order, with an approximate time. He was completely finished several days ahead of schedule and went above & beyond, getting all of my data copied, re-installed, fixing a broken button on my computer, cleaning it inside, & even checking some other ports for me. I had a TON of questions and am not knowledgeable in computers, he was extremely patient with all my questions and even helped me try to troubleshoot some unrelated issues with both this computer and a different computer (I brought it along when I came to pickup & he was very willing to take a quick peek at it).

 + -1 moreHe was very helpful. He came out to the house, explained exactly what he did. The customer service was really great. I recommended him to a friend who also ended up using him, and my friend was very impressed as well.
Description of Work: He changed my computer over to my laptop computer and hooked it to a screen.
