 + -1 moreThe caning was coming off or missing in parts and their were nails sticking out in places. The chair was in bad shape, to the point we were afraid to sit on it. Geoff explained the difference between reworking the chair and refinishing the chair, which was extremely helpful. I decided to have it reworked to preserve more of the memories. He replaced the missing/broken cane, restained the new pieces to match the old, and cleaned the chair really well then applied a finish. It looks GREAT! I am so impressed with the attention-to-detail he gave my chair. I couldn't have asked for a more thorough job. I will definitely take other pieces back to Geoff.
Description of Work: Deckard's reworked an old bamboo chair that has been in the family for several generations.
