We wanted to replace a leaky shower pan as we moved into the new house. We had used an estimate from this company to negotiate an adjustment to the closing costs of the house. We then signed a contract to have the same firm complete the work once we took possession. We scheduled the start of the job 3 weeks in advance to correspond to our date of possession. Things got off to a bad start when no one showed up on the appointed day. A phone call later, we realized that the job had been subcontracted to another individual who then stopped by to scope out the job. He returned two days later to begin work, which seemed like it would take a week. It ended up taking four weeks from start to finish. There were many minor delays due to a myriad of issues. Some avoidable due to overcommittment (e.g. work on other jobs/emergency jobs); others unavoidable (the store misordered the replacement shower pan and sicknesses). The end result is okay, we got a good match to an old shower that no longer leaks into the crawlspace. The job came in $50 over the initial estimate, despite the extreme tardiness.
Description of Work: Remove cracked concrete shower pan, bleach wood, install new plastic shower pan, replace tile removed.
