 + 0 moreThe job took 3.5 days. There was a team of 2-3 young men working each day. Everything went according to schedule and the final job looks great and is working well. Their final clean up was excellent. The owner of the company showed up everyday to take a look at things and again after the job was finished. Our crawlspace access is through our basement. Crawlspace work can be dirty and a fair amount of dirt and gravel made its way out of the crawlspace and onto the floor. They had some drop cloths but they did not have enough to cover the walking path to the basement. Consequently there was some dirt tracked up the steps and onto the main floor of our house. Be prepared to deal with some dirt (it is unavoidable) and remind the guys to take off their work boots before they come into any finished areas of your house.
Description of Work: Sam's team did a crawlspace encapsulation job. This included cleaning out old debris from the crawlspace, installing perimeter drain lines, a sump pump system and installing plastic on the floor and perimeter walls.

Description of Work: Encaplulated our crawlspace. Removed debris, hung wires & cables. Installed vapor barrier of 10mm. Blocked off foundation vents. Installed register vent. Mold remediation entire crawlspace. Installed french drain around entire interier of crawlspace and new sump pump. New Crawlspace entry door. New outside drain extention from two downspouts. Placed humidity and temp gages in crawlspace & living space. Replaced above exterior sump pump pipe drain to below dirt line. |They had some issues with manpower in the middle of the install, but the owner corrected all these issues to our satifaction. I trust this company and would hire him again. They are due back anytime to check the humidity in the crawlspace just to make sure the numbers are what they want.
