We wanted to complete the project before the fourth of July and even though Charles was booked he worked us in and completed the project on time. We are very happy with our new deck and patio. The crew was friendly and on time and Charles is a good person and easy to work with to help you make your plan become a reality. They were very friendly and gave a lot of information. It was actually the best price that we found as well. They will answer any questions you have. They'll ask you exactly what you want and give you multiple options and recommend what they think is the best way to accomplish it.

The former behemouth of a deck and screened porch was warping and in need of repair and restaining (annually). The completed project is now sleek and modern and requires very little maintenance. It will serve my needs better and it looks far better in the setting than the old deck did. All workers on the job did excellent work and were respectful. I highly recommend Decks Unlimited.

They were on schedule with the work as they promised. I HIRED THEM TO PUT AN ADDITION ON MY DECK. HE ORIGINALLY DECLINED THE JOB BECAUSE HE COULD NOT MATCH THE WORK THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY DONE ( The original deck was done a year before that and was not done correctly). He showed me what was wrong. I called the original builder and told him what it wold cost me to correct their work and then hired DECKS UNLMITED to rebuild original deck and put in my addition. The newly corrected deck came out beautiful.

They were pretty innovative and helped us with some of the design features we wanted. They were very price competitive and were easy to work with.

I had no problems with them. They had good communication and I was able to speak with the person who gave me the estimate on a regular basis. He was prompt and responsive. He was kind, courteous, and professional. He gave detailed drawings of the work that they were planning on doing.

While I had discussed deck building with a number of contractors, I had not decided to move forward. Was driving through Lafayette and saw a sign for Decks Unlimited. Gave them a call and was glad I did! The owner was extremely responsive to providing an estimate for a first deck on the back of my house, off a walkout basement overlooking a pretty extreme drop. Within a few days I was provided an estimate with plans and visuals. I immediately contracted the owner, Charles, and booked them to build. He indicated they would finish quickly depending on the weather, but would take care of all details, permitting,etc. Within a couple of weeks (extreme temperature swings, snow, etc.) I had an amazing deck in my backyard. So much so, I asked them to build another deck off my sunroom, a task they completed even more efficiently and effectively. Charles provided some suggestions for improving the deck where step offs were added, is flexible in the work his company does, and holds his staff to high standards for ensuring clean up and an outstanding product. I would contract again with Decks Unlimited to do the work in a heartbeat. They are not the least expensive, but they are not the most expensive. They build exactly what they promise, deliver a quality product, and look for customer satisfaction in their results. Kudos to Decks Unlimited for being an outstanding company!

It went wonderful. We hired them to upgrade the roof of the house we bought for investment. Charles had good ideas about how to fix our problems including things like knee walls and overhangs. They arrived on time, kept in touch with us, cleaned up their mess, and did everything they planned to do according to the detailed contract. They even did little things like making sure the gutters were running in the right direction and worked to make everything match and look good. I would definetly hire them again.

Excellent communicator, very precise with his work. He came up with excellent design options. He actually changed the overhangs on my roof.
