I am happy with the completed job. I had none of the problems mentioned by the other reviewers. I would hire them again.

They repaired everything that was needed. They were very professional and did a great job cleaning up each day they worked. They had very fair pricing. I would definitely recommend them for any drywall work.

Good quality work. Let me get that out of the way first. Family ran company in a high demand market sounds like someone you want to support. Unfortunately the owner will hang up on you when he is unhappy and will threaten to beat you up if he sees you. Claims that you are taking advantage of him when in reality he lacks the ability pay attention to details and what you as the customer are asking. Unbelievable rude ad huge surprise they are still in business. Good luck if you use them.

I tried not once but 3 different times over 3 weeks to contact the company at the number given online and left voicemails. I got a return call the next day after the first call that said their boss would call me the next day and never heard back. The second time I called I got no return call. The 3rd time I got a call back and was asked to text my information to a different number and they would come out the following week. A day was setup to come out and on the morning of they called to confirm. I was told they would be out within a couple of hours. An hour later they called again and said they would be out around noon because they had to drop of some materials at another job. Noon came and went. I called around 2 and the person that answered the phone said they would try to call their boss and see where he was. They called me back and said they couldn't get a hold of him. I called back around 5 and still no one knew what was going on. The person apologized and said it wouldn't happen again. They were right! Nothing happened. I got no phone calls, text messages, or any attempt to contact me and explain what happened or setup another time. I wasted an entire day off waiting on these guys to show up.

They had a great crew who finished the job on time and were very detailed!!

I asked them to come in and get my walls and ceilings ready for paint. They looked through the house and gave me a price. When they came to do the work it was his son and a helper and they did not show up until the evening. I got the feeling I was being treated like a side job. They went through the house repairing the areas they found and then returned the next evening to sand it out. When I expressed concern about spots that were being missed they said not to worry they would come back after primer to fix all the bad spots. They did ask that I paid them in full though. I new better but I did it as they seemed like good guys. This was a rehab not new construction. The walls did not need primer and the painter painted them, and did a nice job. I called Blackburn to come back and touch things up, thinking it would be a few spots, and they gave me a hard time about coming back saying they had not agreed to doing all the rooms. They did come back and smeared drywall compound on nearly every wall that had just been painted ruining the paint job. They also still did not hit some of worst spots. They also would not answer any of my calls and never came back to sand and finish the job. They would like to think they are an upright Christian business, and I get the feeling they used to be. I expect as there work load had increased I totally fell through the cracks and was pushed aside for a bigger job.

They were able to match the stomping pattern that was applied 23 years ago. Did a very nice job with no mess. Very conscious of the surroundings. I would definitely use them again.

They bid the project, and got started right after I accepted their bid. The did a great job and kept things clean.

He is very honest and very good. I like him. I would recommend him. My mother used him for her house as well. He is reasonably priced and I would hire him again. He has good workmanship, easy to work with, honest and reasonably priced.

We initially got Blackburn's information off of Angie's list. I called - James Blackburn was out later the same day. He measured the space and looked over what all needed to be done. He called me back in a couple of days with a quote. After approval the entire job was done within 2 weeks (the very cold weather was causing a delay in the finishing process). He did a walk-through with me at the end of the job. Everything looked good.

They did very good quality work. The price was very competitive. They were here on time.
