Description of Work: Everything was great; touching base with Chris was a bit difficult around the holidays and there was some additional travel I didn't expect. But the work was good and thorough and exceeded expectations with items we hadn't thought of. His team promptly installed three ceiling fans and the wiring for them. We had some really funky wiring with a defunct light and switch that they proposed a solution for that was extensive and expensive and a cheaper, shorter workaround which we used. Not only that, but they replaced our switches and replaced the dead switch with a cool nightlight one! We still need to re-calibrate the sensor they added, but that's on us. Only because of cost did we eliminate one additional piece from our bid which is an outside lantern. The prices weren't unreasonable at all but it added up quickly. Chris also got us a bid on AV modifications we didn't ask for. If we stay in this house for a while we'll consider following up on that--it's just an expense we might not need.

Description of Work: had an electric fire in attic and called 2 others and it would be a week before they would even come to look---called Artisan and told Chris my problem and he made sure he got someone there in a day---told us what they found and what options I had--Top Notch guys!!!

Description of Work: A house had been rewired ~5 years earlier before we purchased it. We found some electrical irregularities causing lights to blow out. Artisan did trouble-shooting and corrected some wiring flaws that had otherwise passed inspection. Worked quickly, efficiently and effectively. Worked cleanly, picked up after job. Good people skills, down to earth personality. Pricing very reasonable. Will be first choice for future electrical work.

Description of Work: The owner gave me an exact list of everything I would need for the project so I could buy it myself. Artisan electric installed it all and it is beautiful.

Description of Work: I had set up an appointment for ARTISAN ELECTRIC to come over to my house and bid a project. I rearranged my wife's doctor appointment for this visit. Yet, the owner did not show up and did not call to explain his no show. I lost an additional half day of work waiting. Very unprofessional and does not deserve his high Angie's List rating. I am not the only customer to be blown off by this owner/business. Think twice about becoming another victim of this owner's no shows.

Description of Work: On a Holiday evening, we experienced an appliance problem due to an electrical problem in our house. We called Artisan Electric, left a message, and Chris (owner) returned our call yet that evening. He worked us into his busy schedule the following day. He was very professional, polite and ethical; and he even cleaned up his work area. We would highly recommend him to other home owners.

Description of Work: I was having a dimmer switch problem in my kitchen caused by CFLs. Chris knew exactly what I needed after talking with me. He came with the right equipment and fixed not only the faulty switch but also a problem he saw in the switch next to the problem. Chris was very pleasant to work with. He is definitely someone I will use again if needed.

Description of Work: The Artisan Electric team helped us configure our outlets and also our audio and visual presentation center at my downtown business. The service worker was professional and I felt comfortable having him in the space even with our clients present. They left the work site clean and in order, through out the process and stressed safety. The local owner gives his time to public events organizations and is committed to providing quality local services. These guys really have their clients best interest in mind.

Description of Work: A new switch for the garbage disposal. A light fixture on the back of the house, moved to the side of the house. A new motion light fixture installed.
