 + 0 moreBEWARE!!! Do not hire these frauds. They took $5 thousand dollars as a cash down payment, told us our job would cost $20 thousand. We paid them in April of this year, they said they would get it done as quickly as possible. We were put off for months and months. Finally the last of June we were told the project would be $40 thousand instead. We said no way! Refund our deposit please. They stopped returning our calls and have not returned our money. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE, NOT REPUTABLE!!!!!!! This is now October, and nothing.
Description of Work: We hired Lewis to re-do a septic system.

 + -1 moreWELL: KNOWING THAT I HAVE PROBLEM WITH MY SEPTIC TANKS I HAVE CALLED LEWIS CO. TO SEE IF THEY COULD COME OUT AND GET IT PUMPED OUT, IT WAS FRIDAY AFTERNOON SO WE SCHEDULE FOR MONDAY MORNING. THE CREW CAME IN ON TIME WITH RIGHT EQUIPMENT START THE JOB RIGHT AWAY. OVER ALL IT TOOK AROUND 4 HOURS TO COMPLETE WHOLE JOB . I WAS VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR PERFORMANCE AND EXPERIENCE IN THIS MATTER .
Description of Work: THE TECHNICIANS ARRIVED AT LOCATION ON TIME . MY PROPERTY HAVE A 4 TANK'S THAT NEEDED TO BE SERVICED . THEY HAVE STARTED WORK ON IT RIGHT AWAY. ONE OF THE TECHNICIAN TESTED GROUNDS AROUND TO LET ME KNOW HOW THE LEACH FIELDS ARE PERFORMING , AND SHARED SOME IDEAS HOW TO TAKE CARE OFF THE ISSUES WITH SOME OF THEM.

 + 0 moreWe first scheduled the pump-out for the morning of May 24. That morning around 7 a.m. the owner's wife called and said he had an emergency in Michigan City, so we rescheduled for the following day, in the afternoon. She was very apologetic and professional. The next day, the crew arrived on time and did their job quickly, as well as gave me advice on how to care for the septic system.
Description of Work: Pumping of septic tank.
