Arnett Construction

I hired Arnett Construction to do a roof job that ended up being a hail damage claim. I work for a roofing manufacturer who provides employee rebate for using their products on our homes. I inquired of my employer if I would qualify for the rebate since it was an insurance job. The corporate legal team was consulted and it was determined that I would qualify for a refund of a portion of my out of pocket expense. I discussed this with my Arnett contractor and my Insurance adjuster right from the beginning. After the job was complete, I needed some information from Arnett to apply for the employee rebate. Ashley, at Arnett, accused me of insurance fraud and took it upon herself to call my employer and my insurance company. I covered all of my bases and knew that what I was trying to do was perfectly legal. Ashley made assumptions, not having all the facts, and put me in a very precarious position with my employer and my insurance company. It's too bad too because they did a beautiful job on my house and I am very happy with those results. But, the way I have been treated by the office staff since has been atrocious and I will not recommend Arnett construction simply for that reason alone. I attempted to speak with the owner regarding the allegations, and he refused to speak with me. So, not only are the office girls rude and put people in jeopardy with false accusations of insurance fraud, the owner does not really care about his customers or he would have taken a moment to listen to me. Stay away from Arnett Construction.

Whatever they do how ever they do Arnett is always right and will not take blame for the crap they pull on you. They are very good sweet talkers and make you feel all warm and cozy inside and then the check clears and stupid excuses are born. The workers must get hurt alot cause they're really good at putting band aids on your house and when you confront them about it they "Doug" say it will hurt if you pull it off and the only thing we can do is put more band aids on and that will cost me extra. I have an old house with original half round gutters and they bent one on the front of the house and we were in agreement to keep the original gutters well it took them "Doug" 7 weeks to call me back and say there was nothing he could do about it cause they are 50 year old gutters and then said he can get me gutters but I will be charged for them, I responded with why would I pay you to get me gutters that you damaged? Can't i just buy them myself? He said well we do gutters too. How convenient for them. They are not clean like they advertise at a glance it looks good because they kicked all the trash in your window wells and split. Scammers are all I see cause I know they split the money with the agent at your insurance company. That's the first question they ask. Who's your insurance? "Farmers" i say they respond with "good I know so and so there and he can definitely get this approved "anyway my gutters are still laying in the yard and get water in the basement but it's not their problem. At work we call those people junk runners

the roof was placed, no problem. however the crew DID NOT CLEAN UP. we discovered this when my husband put a rusty roofing nail through his foot. i contacted owner who apologized and sent workers out to clean. Did NOT offer to reimburse us for the $200 immediate care visit and tetanus shot. then we discovered roofing nails and shingles and boulders in our pond that was draining. we didnt try to repair it until this summer when we discovered they were the cause of this as well. i contacted them again and explained it cost me several hundred dollars to redo the entire pond. i got no apology, only a letter from their attorney that it was too long since the service. JERKS

It is not going well and I am not happy with their performance. The gutters are still not completed. They ran out of material. Now, I have found out that a lien has been placed on my home. I do not want other consumers to have these types of problems that I am having. Again, a lien was placed on my home and the work still has not been completed. Basically, it is the siding that is not being completed.
