I am very pleased with this inspection. Nate was my inspector and he was very detailed. I showed up towards the end of the inspection, and he walked me through his findings. The next day I received a written report with his findings. Nate found things that I hadn't even thought of. I would highly recommend this company.

I researched and interviewed several home inspections companies before settling on United with Nathan, and I'm glad we did! He was extremely responsive, professional, punctual, and knowledgeable! A basic inspection from him is much less than the 765, so don't let that scare you. We paid extra for a septic (where they actually pump the septic out to get a better look), and radon inspection. We've had a lemon of a house before that we got inspected, where they guy missed so much, so we wanted to be extra careful. Nathan even arranged the inspection for us since our real estate agent (not found on angie's list, won't be doing that again) is terrible and it was a FSBO. He was very very thorough with the inspection, despite there being 3 feet of snow on the ground. He looked at every inch of the house, while we asked questions, and was very patient to explain everything to us. His report was very thorough and easy to read. Every and quot;issueand quot; had it's own picture with an arrow in red or yellow pointing to exactly where the problem was, which made it very easy to take back to the seller for repairs. I would absolutely recommend him without hesitation. He was worth every cent. We are currently negotiating a new roof with the seller since nathan found an active leak, and the roof is 23 years old. We may walk away, and if we find another house, we will absolutely use Nathan again! Oh, the house is approximately 3000 sqft with the basement, and it took approximately 4 hours.

Went nicely. Although I was unavailable when Nathan started his inspection, he went right to work and provided a comprehensive list and pictures of the issues he found with the home, from the foundation, to the condition of the roof and chimney. Also appreciated the web research he did regarding the age and history of the boiler and AC unit. There were no big surprises but he pointed out a number of issues and gave his opinion of their severity, within the realm of his expertise. I would recommend him highly and would not hesitate to use his services again.

Nathan arrived at the property on a cold, rainy day on time and with a professional, friendly manner. He was neatly dressed in company logo attire. He took his time inspecting the exterior of the house and surrounding grounds looking for any issues with the building, roof, retaining wall, vents, windows etc. He used another 4 hours for inspection inside which included crawling under the house inspecting the crawl spaces and attic. He answered all my questions and helped determine how the appliances worked , switched out a burned out light bulb to verify if a ceiling light worked, showed me why ceiling fan was inoperable, and used a long pole to reach some switches in an abnormally small attic space. He really outdid himself trying to determine why things weren't working and making sure he didn't overlook any opportunity to provide a thorough inspection.

They did a very thorough job. They were very professional. They were great and they did a very good job. We would recommend them highly.

I had them do my inspection when I bought my house. I think they did a prety good job. The guy was very thorough, and did a good job of making me aware of what I was buying. I had called a few places that my realtor recommended, and this seemed to be the best choice. The inspector even did a well pressure test at no extra charge. And I had the inspection report in less than a day- 29 pages!! It had alot of information about the house. I also had him do a water quality sample since the house is on a well. It turns out that the well was contaminated with bacteria, so I had to have someone clean it before I moved in. Nathan came back out to retest the water after the well was cleaned. I'm really glad I found this company- they found many issues that I wasn't aware of and saved me money- since I got the seller to fix some of it. If I know of anyone that needs and inspector, I always tell them to call United Inspections.

I think Nathan did a thorough job with the inspection. He took the time to address our concerns and answer our questions. Overall, it was a great inspection. Since Nathan was not our friend, nor recommended by a friend, he was completely nonpartial in his inspection. I think this really helped to have the home inspected properly without bias. We came to the house not know much about it, but let with a clear picture of the house- the good and the bad. I would tell anyone looking for a home inspector to go with this company. It was a great experience.

I called several inspection companies to compare their qualifications and prices. I took everything into account and choose United Inspections. One thing that I really liked was that I got the inspection agreement in my email about 2 days before the inspection, so I had time to read it before the day of the inspection. The inspector, Nathan, took the time to make sure that I understood every defect that was found. He made me feel very comfortable with his findings. I was very impressed with how thorough the inspection was. I recieved the inspection report in my email about 24 hours later, which I thought was pretty fast. It was 29 pages long and included information on all aspects of the home. It was put together well and was easy to navigate and read. It also included alot of pictures. The water quality test took about 5 days to get back from the lab, which was great because the inspector estimated that it would take 7-10 days. Overall, I am very impressed with the efficiency of this company. I would use them again, and I plan to refer them to every that I know who is buying a house. I am truly pleased!
