Description of Work: I told them to bag my lawn because it was tall and yet they tried to mulch it creating huge clumps of grass. Which my dog brought into my home. Also tried to call them to fix the situation and had to leave a message on there answering service. No body returned my call and they came again and made a mess of my lawn. At this point I tried calling them again and had to leave a message. Again no one returned my call. So I finally called again to cancel my service and yes left another message. The next week they came and cut my lawn again. Now my wife called them and yes left another message stating we will not be paying for the last 2 lawn cuts because we have canceled there services.Now again they come and cut my lawn the next week, so short and I took pictures and called and made a police report. I still have not received a bill. But to make a long story short please dont use this company. I plan to see them in court.

+ -1 moreMy issue with Shady Brook is with their billing. This company needs a billing person who is responsible, cognitive and keeps records of their payments and not just run out to the bank because they received a check in the mail without recording the payment. I just received a statement for bills they are claiming they are owed from 2011. We have paid all of our bills with them, and if we did miss a bill, then notify us at the time of occurance or at the end of the quarter. You cannot be a professional company and send a customer a statement 6 months later and tell them they owe you money when none is owed. I have also received bills dated due on 4/15 and I receive it in the mail on 4/30 then on my next statement there is a late fee. Unacceptable.....horrible company!!!
Description of Work: Shady Brook comes out to fertilize our lawn on a regular basis. They originally did our landscaping project and lawn service but we stopped our lawn service with them because their workers would leave horrible skid marks from their mowers all over our drive way, they also cut our neighbors lawn at the same time and I would watch them drag race to cut both lawns within 10 minutes and both lots are half acre lots.

+ -1 moreThey have been consistent. The owner used to cut the grass for me himself. He now has new workers that help. There have been some minor issues as of late. However, they do take responsibility for their mistakes. They also do their best to correct the issues.
Description of Work: They cut my lawn and do some shrub trimming for me.
